Bolivia greeted us with a whole lot of surprises!
From the tastiest beer, Huari Miel to the various ways to cook with corn and tapioca, from sandy dunes to endless heights and beautiful beaches, from crazy busy towns to empty suburbs, from cable cars to 4x4 buggies and flying trucks (see this video), from friendly llamas to the kindest dogs ever, from a jam session to receptionist/bartender life, we’ve experienced it all!
Our overall verdict: Bolivia is totally underrated and if you’re up for a less typical voyage, it should be on your bucket list!
Gracias muchachos, we’ll be back! 🇧🇴

Day 09 - 2012 11 06 - Machacamarca a Quillacas
Day 9 of my cycling trip from La Paz to Santiago. Quite poorly now, but the long flat tarmac roads made it passable. The terrain is significantly changing as I start to move away from the edge of the altiplano and head into the Salar and Lagunas area.
Challapata a bit of a dump but Huari quite nice.
Note I've not added any overtracked music, mainly consists of raw footage (probably touch boring, Tough !). However I hope you enjoy the journey if you stick with it.
