Caltagirone the ceramic capital of Sicily. This town is best known for its beautiful Sicilian ceramics, work shops and of course the Staircase of Santa Maria del Monte. Lots of small and cozy streets filled with colorful stores.
We came here again to buy a few special ceramic pieces to bring back to the US with us and learned that everything completely shuts down on Sundays.
