In my latest $10 episode (45th episode overall) I take you on the bustling streets of Moshi, Tanzania - a small, yet energetic town on the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I teamed up with my friend and local celebrity named Nick Reynolds (AKA Bongozozo), and together we had a blast hitting the markets and also hitting the links (this is the first time that I've been able to purchase a full 18 holes of golf for under $10!).

🇹🇿 Tanzania roads: Bukoba to Singida (735 km in 3 minutes 👌🇹🇿)
Driving from Bukoba to Singida on excellent roads (735 km). Statistics: 15 police stops without any problem (mzungu where do you come from and where do you go to..). Passing around 150+ trucks (mostly with petrol that go up and down from Dar Es Salaam). Speedbumps are ‘car friendly’, not the bunker busters like in Uganda or Kenya.

Bukoba Rubondo 2022
Rubondo Island became a game reserve in 1965, to provide a sanctuary for animals. Rubondo Island was gazetted as a national park in 1977. Today Rubondo is uninhabited. Consequently, 80% of the island remains forested today. The 400 “fisher folk” of the Zinza tribe, who lived on the island and maintained banana plantations, were resettled on neighbouring islands and onto the mainland by the government in the late 1960s.
Common native fauna include the vervet monkey, sitatunga, hippopotamus, genet and bushbuck.
