Let's explore the beautiful town of Buhi in Camarines Sur.
Buhi is most known for its Lake Buhi - the 1,800 hectare freshwater lake that was created out of volcanic activity and is located between Mount Asog and Mount Malinao.
The Lake Buhi is also considered to be the most famous lake in the entire Bicol region not only because of its relaxing view but also because it is home to the world's smallest commercial fish called Sinarapan. Unfortunately, because Sinarapan is facing a near-extinction due to overfishing in the 1990's, catching them has already been prohibited. Today, the lake is still one of the major aquaculture areas in the Bicol Region where commercial production of the Filipino favorite fish Tilapia is done.

#1. Peñafrancia Basilica Minore,
Our Lady of Peafrancia Church, also known as Peafrancia Basilica Minore, is an 18th century Roman Catholic church in Camarines Sur. It was erected around 1750 in the Baroque style. . The feast day of Our Lady of Peafrancia, which is held on September 17, is regarded as one of the country's most important religious events.

Mount Isarog, a potentially active volcano that stands 1,976 meters above sea level, is one of Camarines Sur's most popular tourist destinations.

The province's Lake Buhi is a freshwater lake located in a valley between Mount Asog and Mount Malinao. The 1,600-hectare lake is noted for being a breeding place for sinarapan, the world's smallest economically harvestable fish. The greatest way to enjoy the lake is to go boating, but tourists can also wander about and marvel at the beauty of the lake, forestland, and looming mountains.

Panicuason Hot Spring Resort is a renowned tourist destination in Camarines Sur, located at the foot of Mount Isarog, a potentially active volcano. It's a well-kept resort surrounded by lush canopy forest and trees. The resort's major attractions are its numerous natural hot spring and cold spring pools. The hot spring is fed by an active volcano, while the cool spring is fed by the Inarihan River. Adventure trips such as ziplining, zip biking, tarzan swinging, wall climbing, and rappelling are available to visitors.

Malabsay Falls, a 40-foot cascade surrounded by lush vegetation, is one of the province of Camarines Sur's most famous attractions. It's bordered by mossy cliffs and stones covered in growing vegetation.

Good Deeds in BUHI CAMARINES SUR Bicol Philippines - Rural Provincial Scenes [4K]
I spent some time giving away some FREE ICE CREAM to some children and families in Buhi Camarines Sur Bicol Philippines on Christmas Day. I really enjoy this Buhi because it is one of the places where filipino traditions are still kept in place, and isn't really too influenced by western culture. A lot of the people here still live off the land, cook in open kitchens using only wood, and take bathes and do laundry in many of the natural pools around the area. Buhi Camarines Sur is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle and just enjoy the serenity of all natural surroundings, clean air, and amazing hospitality. The Bicol dialects are also very interesting, totally different than the main Tagalog dialect of the Philippines. Although the internet isn't that great, sometimes no-fi is better as it will get you even closer to the locals.
