Bilimora is a city situated on the banks of the river Ambika, in Gandevi taluka & Navsari district of Gujarat state, in India. The city comes under the purview of the Surat Metropolitan Region. The city is roughly 70 kilometres (43 mi) south of the city of Surat and is the southernmost point of the Surat Metropolitan Region and the Metropolis of Surat. It is linked to Surat by SH 6 and SH 88.[clarification needed]
In the late 18th century, the Baroda State established a naval station at Bilimora, a port about 40 miles (64 km) south of Surat, known as Bunder Bilimora Suba Armor. A fleet of 50 vessels were stationed here, mostly sailboats, cargo vessels for trading and military vessels to secure the sea from the Portuguese, the Dutch and the French.

The Bilimora to Waghai Heritage train runs through tribal lands in the state of Gujarat, India. It
restarted the service with the Tourist AC coach in 2021.
Here's the roadmap of our journey:
11:00 PM - Our journey started by boarding MMCT NDB Express from Borivali Station.
4:00 AM - We reached Bilimora Railway station in the early morning. We still had 5-6 hrs left for our journey ahead so we took a room in a lodge nearby and rested for a while.
10:00 AM - We vacated the room and left for the Heritage Train's railway station
10:20 AM - We boarded the Narrow Gauge Heritage Train
2:00 PM - The train was a bit late so we reached Waghai Railway Station by 2PM. We roamed around a little and had some snacks.
2:30 PM - We got into the Heritage train back for our return journey
6:00 PM - We reached Waghai Railway Station. Since we were hungry we had some snacks at a hotel nearby the Railway Station.
7:40 PM - We boarded MMCT NDB Express and left back for Borivali.
