While researching for my second visit to Romania, I found out about the most remote village in Romania. That immediately sparked my interest so I decided to look into getting there.
The name of the village is Inelet and it's nearby the well known town of Baile Herculane. In order to get there you have to hike up wooden ladders along the cliffside. Cars can't get there at all so the locals really rely on horses or donkeys to bring in goods. Also an interesting fact is that locals use a barter system and not money to trade within the village.

Bucharest, Romania | A Beautiful House in The Heart of The Capital City
The house built in baroque style with Art Nouveau influences is set on the corner, at the intersection of Biserica Amzei and Christian Tell streets. The building has richly ornamented facades, with balconies and the windows decorated with bas-reliefs with cherubs, lions and cupids. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century.
The owner of the house was Maria Mihăescu, the first woman from Bucharest to ride a bicycle, known for her extravagant and luxurious life. Mița Biciclista was born in 1885 and at 15, she left home to became one of the most eccentric courtesans. In the beginning, she was the mistress of King Leopold of Belgium. When she returned to Bucharest, other important people were among her conquests, King Ferdinand of Romania included. It seems that the king was the one who gave her the house in the heart of Bucharest as a gift. She lived also in Paris for a while, and when she returned to Romania, she continued to have the same Parisian lifestyle and used to speak to everyone in French. She used to wear pants or going to the beach in a bathing suit, when everyone bathed in public in a robe, at that time. She was the first woman who dared to ride a bicycle on the streets of the Capital of Romania. That’s why she got the nickname Mita Biciclista (Mitza, The Cyclist).

🇷🇴 THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ROAD IN THE WORLD (Transfagarasan Highway, Romania)
Top Gear were not wrong when they said this was the greatest driving road in the world!
Getting a chance to drive transfagarasan highway, or the most beautiful road in the world is a dream come true and it was (Almost) exactly as we expected!
After spending a couple of weeks exploring beautiful Romania we turned ourselves toward the biggest goal we had in this country, the Transfagarasan. This beautiful road took four years and 5000 tons of dynamite blasting through mountains to build. It is simply the greatest driving road in the world and really lives up to it's moniker!
If you ever find yourself anywhere close to this area of Europe, do yourself a favour, rent a car and drive this incredible driving road. You wont be disappointed. Just make sure you see the rest of Romania too. it's incredible!

Free camping in Romania | Is it safe and legal to camp in Romania? | Romania travel vlog
We spent over two months in Romania and we free camped in our campervan almost every night. From beaches to parking lots to beautiful spots in the wild. We found the most amazing places where we swam, had campfires, stargazed and saw bears. Camping in Romania has been one of the best experiences of our lives. And for the most part it's been completely free. We only paid for campsites when we needed to get water, empty our toilet and have showers.

Salina Turda (underground theme park):
Timisoara: We stayed here several nights and had a great time but on our last night, we had someone (maybe a local, maybe another campervanner) keep knocking on our door trying to join him for drinks. We quickly left. But that was after several great nights in this spot. We also found the carpark at the mall Shopping City a great place to park.
