Canada Road Trip: Best Things To Do In Newfoundland
NEWFOUNDLAND IS AWESOME! In this video, we showcase the BEST things to do in Newfoundland, including St. John's, Gros Morne National Park, Trinity, Twillingate, and more!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Newfoundland!
Newfoundland was our first province during the Road to 150, our 150-day road trip across Canada. We experienced icebergs, fjords, walking on the Earth's mantle, humpback whales, kitchen parties, and swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. But most of all, we fell in love with the people, which is a big part of what makes Newfoundland such a special place.

Canada's Road to 150 was a 150-day Canada-wide multimedia road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?
We drove to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim was to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.

India's Oldest Video Game Shop?
This might be the oldest video game store in India! Babu started his store in 1980 by renting out the Nintendo Game & Watch handhelds for 1 rupee an hour.
Watch my tour of Babu's Video Games in Pune, India,
This was Nintendo's first successful video game product and it led the way for their mega-hit, Gameboy.
30 years later, Babu's store is still here in Pune, and he has a workshop where he repairs and mods consoles.
Where I'm from, sadly, these types of independent game stores run by gamers are long gone, so I loved visiting Babu's shop and buying a Nintendo Switch. What's your favourite video game? Tell me in the comments.
You can find Babu's Video Games store on Google Maps
Babu's Video Games (बाबू वीडियो गेम्स) is located in the beautiful and chilled-out city of Pune, India. Pune is a sprawling city in the western state of Maharashtra, known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and beautiful architecture. It is also a hub of education and technology, making it a popular destination for students and professionals.

Nova Scotia Road Trip - 10 Days from Halifax to Cape Breton and Back
There's no vacation like a @NovaScotiaTourism vacation, and for 10 days my family and I drove from Halifax to Cape Breton, and back again, exploring some of the best the province has to offer. It was the best road trip I've ever taken.
Watch our road trip from Halifax, to Peggy's Cove, and on to Inverness, Baddeck, Chéticamp, Ingonish, Sydney, Louisbourg, and back to Halifax.
A tremendous thank-you to our partners for the trip: Tourism Nova Scotia, @DiscoverHalifax, @CBTourism, @parkscanada, The Halliburton Hotel, Keltic Lodge, Inverary Resort, the Glenora Distillery, and Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.

Great Ottawa Hikes: The NCC Western Trail, Bells Corners to Shirleys Bay
A spring day hike along a NCC trail in the west end of Ottawa, Ont., Canada, surely one of the best hikes in the urban portion of the city. We'll pass through fields, forested areas, farmland, cross under the region's major highway and end up at the scenic Shirley's Bay park on the Ottawa River.
Then we'll retrace our steps and have a special treat for all our hard trekking.
This hike took place on a cool, windy but very sunny early-May day. With a bunch of stops for filming, snacks and a bit of exploration, the trek lasted about 4 hours and covered about 16-17 kms (10 miles).
We start along Robertson Rd. in Bells Corners, and trek north on the NCC Western Trail system, crossing several roads and checking out the colourful grafitti display underneath the Hwy. 417 bridges.
When we're done, there's a hiker's delight awaiting us just 100 m from the end of the trail (and no, I did not get a promotional fee from Kitchisippi Brewery ... I just happen to like their very fine craft beers, and the Ad Mare seafood truck set up in their parking lot).
The mainly stone-dust path is part of an extensive greenbelt and trail system maintained by the federal government's National Capital Commission in Ottawa. The wide swathe of protected natural area that rings the urban core is truly one of the most wonderful features of our city and region.
I sincerely hope this, and some of my other videos showcasing beautiful and accessible trails and outdoor attractions in our region encourage others to enjoy them as much as I do.
Please, feel free to Like, Comment and, if you want to see more local and regional outdoors content, you can also Subscribe.
Happy hiking!
NOTE: This hike is from May 2022. I found the clips recently while going through some other content and realized it had never been posted, so here it is! All information in the video remains current as of March 2024, because I recently hiked the trail again.
