Top 10 things to see on Cebu, Philippines this year
Cebu is located to the east of Negros, to the west of Leyte and Bohol islands. The province consists of Cebu Island, as well as 167 smaller islands, which include Mactan, Bantayan, Malapascua, Olango and the Camotes Islands. But the highly urbanized cities of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue are independent cities.
Cebu Island itself is long and narrow, stretching 196 kilometres (122 mi) from north to south and 32 kilometres (20 mi) across at its widest point. It has narrow coastlines, limestone plateaus and coastal plains. It also has rolling hills and rugged mountain ranges traversing the northern and southern lengths of the island.
Cebu's highest mountains are over 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) high. Flat tracts of land can be found in the city of Bogo and in the towns of San Remigio, Medellin and Daanbantayan at the northern region of the province.
Cebu City, officially the City of Cebu (Cebuano: Dakbayan sa Sugbo; Filipino: Lungsod ng Cebu), is the capital city of the province of Cebu and is the second city of the Philippines being the center of Metro Cebu, the second most populous metropolitan area in the Philippines after Metro Manila. Cebu is a 1st city income class highly urbanized city where political governance is independent and separate from the province of Cebu, and according to the 2015 census, it has a population of 922,611, making it the fifth most populated city in the country. Cebu City is a significant center of commerce, trade and education in the Visayas region.
The city is located on the mid-eastern side of Cebu island. It is the first Spanish settlement, the country's oldest city, and the first capital of the Philippines. It is considered as the Fount of Christianity in the Far East.
Cebu is the Philippines' main domestic shipping port and is home to about 80% of the country's domestic shipping companies. Cebu City is bordered to the northeast by Mandaue and the town of Consolacion, to the west are Toledo City, and the towns of Balamban and Asturias, to the south are Talisay City and the town of Minglanilla. Across Mactan Strait to the east is Mactan Island.
It is the center of a metropolitan area called Metro Cebu, which includes the cities of Carcar, Danao, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Naga and Talisay; and the municipalities (towns) of Compostela, Consolacion, Cordova, Liloan, Minglanilla and San Fernando. Metro Cebu has a total population of 2,849,213.

I Camped in A HIDDEN Place in Cebu Philippines 🇵🇭 | Barili
Barili offers beautiful nature in Cebu. A month ago, I had a chance to join my friends' camping group to camp in Barili. I like to explore and had travelled in Barili a number of times, but the campsite that we went was pretty remote 😱
The Sitio in Barili where the campsite is located is calledTagaytay. We came with my friend's car and were able to park it in the Sitio because someone in my group knew or contacted someone in the Sitio for parking before going there. We were led by local people to reach the campsite, and they were very helpful 😊
After camping, we went to Busagak Fall in Pinamunghan. It's in a mountain but seems to be known locally because there were already some people before us. There wasn't much trash there, and the water was clean and cold as long as I observed. I recommend for you to go there 😃

Philippines tourism ~ I finally reach the town of Barili located on the west coast of Cebu Island. Wow.. what a spectacular view when I came down from the mountain road from Cebu City. I think this is one of the prettiest views I've ever seen. Now, I'm heading for Moalboal Cebu.

I took a taxi to Moalboal from Cebu City, Cebu to look at 2 houses for sale and a lot for sale. Moalboal is a popular resort and diving area on Cebu Island. Real estate prices are going through a downward price correction in many areas because of the present economic recession/depression with foreigners not allowed into the Philippines for about 10 months and many more months into the future apparently.
