As a disclaimer, this list is neither a social commentary, nor a guide on which are the nicest towns to live, but purely a judgement on the aesthetics of each respective town centre.

10 Most Hated Towns in England
What are the most hated towns in England? No matter how good a country is, every part of it can’t be loved equally. In fact, some parts of it are bound to be hated. Even the most fanatic lover of a country will love some parts of it less than others. I have heard some people complaining about some towns in England, the home of the Queen that some people are dying to live and work in. That prompts research into the 10 most hated towns in England.
This ranking is based mainly on the comments and complaints of residents of England and visitors to those towns. But it’s not limited to that since some complaints can be completely baseless. We dig deeper in researching these 10 most hated towns in England.
10. Slough
Let’s begin with Slough, a town in Berkshire, within the historic county of Buckinghamshire. This town is 20 miles west of central London and 19 miles northeast of Reading. You will find the town in the Thames Valley and within the London metropolis around the area at the intersection of the M4.
In spite of its location, Slough according to those visitors, is a town whose streets are littered with empty takeaway and full of packets or empty beer cans. This assertion hasn’t been contradicted by even just one resident. The quality of food in the town’s restaurants appears, kind of, made for losers who’re just out to eat as much unhealthy food as they can get away with.
9. Scunthorpe
It’s not desirable to find Scunthorpe among the most hated towns in England. Unfortunately, we can’t afford to take it out of our list because the facts obviously place it there. This industrial town in the unitary authority of North Lincolnshire should normally be the pride of Lincolnshire as its main administrative center. But the town with an estimated population of 82,334 in 2016 had many things going against it.
Residents of the UK’s largest steel processing center, also known as the Industrial Garden Town, are frustrated by a lack of the liveliness and diversity in the town only known for work. However, the loudest grouse that lists Scunthorpe alongside the most hated towns in England is the indiscriminate censorship and blocking of websites for spurious reasons.

Places to see in ( Brackley - UK )
Places to see in ( Brackley - UK )
Brackley is a town in south Northamptonshire, England. It is about 19 miles from Oxford and about 22 miles from Northampton. Historically a market town based on the wool and lace trade, it was built on the intersecting trade routes between London, Birmingham and the English Midlands and between Cambridge and Oxford. Brackley has connections with Formula 1 as it is close to Silverstone and home to the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team.
Brackley, originally also known as Brachelai or Brackele, was held in 1086 by Earl Alberic. After this it passed to the Earl of Leicester, and to the families of De Quincy and Roland. In the 11th and 12th centuries Brackley was in the Hundred of Odboldistow and in the Manor of Halse. Richard I (The Lionheart) named five official sites for jousting tournaments so that such events could not be used as local wars, and Brackley was one of these. The tournament site is believed to be to the south of the castle where the A422 now passes.
Brackley used the poor house at Culworth until 1834, when Parliament passed the Poor Law Amendment Act and as a result Brackley Poor Law Union was founded.[5] A workhouse for 250 people was built in 1836, southwest of the town on Banbury Road. It was demolished in the 1930s.
Brackley Castle was built soon after 1086. Its earthwork remains lie between Hinton Road and Tesco. It comprised a motte mound 10 feet (3.0 m) high and approximately 44 yards (40 m) in diameter with an outer bailey to the east. Archaeological excavation has revealed evidence of a ditch defining the perimeter of the bailey. Two fishponds originally lay outside the ditch but have subsequently been infilled – however south of St. James Lake may have formed a part of this. Brackley Castle may have gone out of use in 1147. It was destroyed in 1173.
The almshouses were founded in 1633 by Sir Thomas Crewe of Steane. They have one storey plus attic dormers. They were originally six houses but by 1973 they had been converted into four apartments. Brackley Manor House was also a 17th-century Jacobean building that also originally had one storey plus attic dormers. In 1875–78 the Earl of Ellesmere had it rebuilt on a larger scale, in the same style but retaining only the doorway and one window of the original building. It is now Winchester House School, a coeducational preparatory school for children aged from 3–13. It used to be a Woodard School.
Brackley is close to the A43 road, which now bypasses the town, linking it to Towcester and Northampton to the north-east and the M40 motorway to the west. The A422 links it to Banbury and Buckingham. The nearest railway station is Kings Sutton, about 6 miles (10 km) west of the town. Brackley had two railway stations of its own that were closed in the 1960s. Brackley's first station, known in its latter years as Brackley Town, opened in May 1850 as part of the Buckinghamshire Railway's Buckingham and Brackley Junction line between Verney Junction and Banbury Merton Street via Buckingham.
( Brackley - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting Brackley . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Brackley - UK

Banbury Country Park, Oxfordshire | Exploring England
Banbury Country Park, in Oxfordshire, is a relatively new park on a 30-acre land. Accessible by the canal towpath, it is a haven for wildlife and helps maintain biodiversity in the area. It is currently consisting of the tranquil lake, with continuing plans to expand.
After Cherwell District Council declared a climate emergency in July, it is ramping up its efforts to tackle the area's carbon footprint by planting 30,000 trees in a new woodland. Meaning the park is going to be continuously growing for a while, so maybe in a couple of years time, this video will need updating.

Celebrating Easter In #Banbury | Visit #Oxfordshire, England 【4K】
We've spent great time in Bunbury visiting the town centre, some pubs and the Oxford Canal. Here's some details of what we've visited for this Easter celebration:
1. The Banbury Cross Inn (one of our favourites)
The Banbury Cross is a historic pub located in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. The exact date of its construction is not known, but it is believed to have been built in the early 17th century, making it one of the oldest buildings in the town.
The pub was originally named the Cross Inn, but it is said to have been renamed after the nearby Banbury Cross, which is mentioned in the nursery rhyme Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross.
In the 19th century, the pub became a coaching inn, providing accommodation and stables for travellers and their horses. It also became a popular spot for local farmers to sell their livestock at the nearby market.
2. The Coach and Horses Pub (very good food)
The Coach and Horses Pub is a historic public house located in Banbury. The building dates back to the 17th century. During the 18th and 19th centuries, the Coach and Horses became a popular haunt for local tradesmen and farmers. It was also frequented by stagecoach passengers travelling between London and the Midlands.
3. The Oxford Canal (great for a walk)
The Oxford Canal is a historic waterway that runs for 78 miles from Oxford to Coventry, passing through Banbury on its route. The canal was constructed in the late 18th century for transporting goods, particularly coal, between the Midlands and the south of England.

Banbury Walk: Town Centre【4K】
Located in the county of Oxfordshire, and around 20 miles north of Oxford, is the town of Banbury.
The name 'Banbury' derives from 'Banna's burh', with 'burh' being a Saxon word for fortified settlement and 'Banna' being presumably the name of a Saxon chieftain. It is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as 'Banesberie'.
During the 12th century, Banbury was owned by the Bishops of Lincoln. In 1135, Alexander, Bishop of Lincoln ordered the construction of Banbury Castle. The castle would later be destroyed following the English Civil War, leaving no remains.
From the 13th century, Banbury became known for its wool trade. By the Tudor era, leather-making became another major industry in the town. Many specialist markets were held in Banbury by the end of the 16th century, including a leather market, a horse market, a sheep market, a cattle market, a swine market, a corn market, and a flax market. On the culinary side, the town became known for Banbury cheese (up until the 19th century) and Banbury cakes (currant-filled pastries).
In 1628 a fire broke out, destroying over 100 houses in Banbury, which was about one third of those in the town at the time.
During the mid 18th century, the following nursery rhyme first appeared in print: Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross, To see a Fine Lady upon a white horse, With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes, She shall have music wherever she goes. During the Middle Ages, three crosses stood in different locations around the town. These were all destroyed by Puritans around the beginning of the 17th century. The cross featured in the walk dates from 1859 to commemorate the marriage of Princess Victoria, eldest daughter of Queen Victoria, to Prince Frederic of Prussia. The adjacent statue of the Fine Lady was unveiled in 2005 by Princess Anne.
In 1790 the Oxford Canal was completed. This provided Banbury with a direct link to Oxford, Coventry and other locations, thus providing a boost to trade in the town. Sixty years later, in 1850, the railway arrived at Banbury courtesy of Great Western Railway. Today it has direct links to London Marylebone, Birmingham, Oxford and Manchester among other locations.
In 1854, Banbury Town Hall was built in the Gothic Revival style. It is Grade II listed.
Banbury is represented in sport by Banbury United Football Club. Founded in 1931, they play their home games at the Spencer Stadium.
