Balestrate è un borgo marinaro incastonato nel golfo di Castellammare, località marittima vicino Palermo in Sicilia
Arrivati nella zona del Belvedere, dove c’è un lunga terrazza da dove potete affacciarvi, potrete ammirare il particolare Golfo di Castellammare alternata da lunghe spiagge e anfratti scogliosi
La Chiesa Madre di Balestrate è la Chiesa di Sant’Anna, ha una facciata Neoclassica ornata ai lati da due Campanili, e come potete vedere nel video, domina la particolare piazza principale del comune.
E’ un centro balneare incantevole dal lungo litorale sabbioso.
dove si possono fare lunghe passeggiate ma anche attività sportiva come una corsetta. Invece le zone di scogliera danno la possibilità di praticare sport subacqueo
Ha una lunga spiaggia di sabbia dorata con fondali bassi e acqua trasparente.
Le spiagge sono due
Spiaggia Forgia o Cala della Forgia caratterizzata dallo sbocco del fiume Jato e
Spiaggia Forgitella, dove sono presenti le strutture balneari come lidi, bar e vari servizi
Lungo la spiaggia Forgitella si estende un bel boschetto che arricchisce lo scenario dell’ambiente con la sua ricca vegetazione
E se volete mangiare un bel piatto di spaghetti con le vongole, piatto che ho scelto, fatelo pure.
