Historia de la parroquia de Manglaralto:
Su población en ese año era de 1.200 habitantes aproximadamente, con los siguientes recintos: Buenos Aires, Barcelona, San Pedro, Valdivia, Sitio Nuevo, Libertador Bolívar, San Antonio, Cadete, Río Chico, Pajiza, Dos Mangas, Montañita, Olón, Curía, San José, San Francisco, La Entrada y La Rinconada.
La principal actividad económica descansa en la agricultura y en el comercio y contaba con extensos bosques, por lo que la mayoría de las viviendas de esta Parroquia estaban construidas con madera de guayacán, con caña guadua y con hojas de palmera o de paja toquilla.
La agricultura fue la verdadera fuente de riqueza para Manglaralto, sus cultivos principales eran la tagua, la paja toquilla, el plátano, la cascarilla, la caña de azúcar, el café, el cacao, la naranjilla, la piña y la guayaba que eran comercializados con Santa Elena, La Libertad y Guayaquil.
Históricamente se destacó la confección de sombreros de paja toquilla, pudiendo afirmarse que el 75% de sombreros manufacturados en Ecuador se hicieron con la paja toquilla de Manglaralto.
Fue tan importante la producción de la paja toquilla en Manglaralto que el país lo empezó a exportar al Japón y Alemania; a Perú e internamente era llevado a las industrias de las provincias del Cañar, Azuay, Imbabura y Pichincha.
También se destaca la comercialización de la tagua, de cocoteros, la cabuya blanca, los yacimientos de yeso, y en la isla El Viejo se explotaba gran cantidad de guano.
La Parroquia Manglaralto, desde el siglo pasado, fue una región de gran desarrollo agrícola. Su puerto, industrias, agricultura y comercio le dieron fama en el campo de la economía nacional. En 1919 se lanzó el proyecto de cantonización de esta parroquia sin mayor resultado.
La disminución de su producción sobretodo maderera ocasionó que también cambie su importancia en el territorio, debido a que al disminuir los bosques por tala indiscriminada se redujeron las superficies adecuadas para producción, por lo que, se conservaron a lo largo del tiempo las de paja toquilla y tagua, que se comercializan hasta la actualidad sin ningún proceso significativo de valor agregado. (Gobierno Parroquial de Manglaralto, 2022).

State of Emergency in Ecuador: Curfew for 60 Days
Alert: State of Emergency and Curfews in Ecuador
Location: Guayas, Los Ríos, Manabí, Orellana, Santa Elena, El Oro; Distrito Metropolitano de Quito in Pichincha and Camilo Ponce Enríquez in Azuay.
Event: On October 3, 2024, Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa declared a state of emergency for 60 days in the provinces of Guayas, Los Ríos, Manabí, Orellana, Santa Elena, El Oro as well as Distrito Metropolitano de Quito in Pichincha and Camilo Ponce Enríquez in Azuay. The state of emergency was declared in response to an increase in violence, crimes, and presence of organized criminal groups, and is intended to facilitate the work of the armed forces and national police in the ongoing internal armed conflict that was declared on January 9, 2024.
The current state of emergency provides for the suspension of the right to inviolability of home and correspondence; as well as the right to freedom of assembly in the territories listed above.
In addition to the state of emergency, curfews will also be in place every day from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following areas: Camilo Ponce Enriquez (Azuay); Duran, Balao, and Tenguel (Guayas); Babahoyo, Buena Fe, Quevedo, Pueblo Viejo, Vinces, Valencia, Ventanas, Mocache, Urdaneta, Baba, Palenque, Quinsaloma, and Montalvo (Los Rios); La Joya de los Sachas, Puerto Francisco de Orellana, and Loreto (Orellana).
U.S. citizens should comply with curfews, local laws, and the Department of State’s Travel Advisory for Ecuador. U.S. citizen residents and travelers should expect heavy military and police presence throughout Ecuador during these periods, which may include check points on roads. Be aware that power outages may cause additional challenges. U.S. citizens should exercise caution during electrical outages, especially during periods of darkness, including taking measures to protect personal safety. We recommend planning for power outages by stocking up on essential items, such as food, water, medical supplies, and other personal items.
International airports in Quito and Guayaquil will remain fully operational during the state of emergency, curfews, and electrical outages. Travelers should monitor their flight status closely. Travel to and from the airports is permitted during curfew hours for individuals with a scheduled flight. 很難得整理了一篇很豐富的Vlog之旅，最後就來把他串成完整的一集吧，如果還沒看到的朋友可以一次看完拉~！
原本預計要去澎湖看花火節的表演的，沒想到遇到這次的疫情，整個花火節延後了，不過因為我們都是第一次去澎湖，所以行程照走拉~就來看看澎湖的一些當地景點吧。
行程如下(也是影片中依序出現的景點)
第一天 (主要是南環景點)
松山機場→彩虹氣球民宿→文華街北新橋牛雜湯、鐘記燒餅、益豐豆漿→南海遊客中心搭乘滿天星號前往海上皇宮海洋牧場(Klook購買較優惠唷~)→家竹黑糖剉冰(港灣店) →港邊廢墟(網美拍照景點) →風櫃洞觀景台、風櫃濤聲→福朋喜來登BBQ→邱比特娃娃屋
第二天 (主要是奎壁山摩西分海跟北環景點)
二信飯糰、鐘記燒餅→湖西鄉：奎壁山(摩西分海)、東石環保公園→白沙鄉：(後寮天堂沙灘、天堂路、通樑保安宮、通樑古榕、巷仔內仙人掌冰(內行人才知道的喲)、易家仙人掌冰、跨海大橋→西嶼鄉：小萍的店(小卷米粉)、小門鯨魚洞、大菓葉玄武岩、二崁聚落(杏仁茶、烤小卷)、池西岩瀑-池西柱狀玄武岩、 竹灣大義宮(綠蠵龜)、夢幻沙灘→日新餐廳(海鮮熱炒) →玉冠嫩仙草→彩虹橋(目前整修中)
第三天 (主要是採買伴手禮跟馬公市區景點)
福朋喜來登吃早餐→金龜頭砲臺營區→篤行十村(二十二隱巷民宿、張雨生紀念館、潘安邦紀念館) →阿豹香腸、仙人掌冰城(於彩虹氣球民宿享用) →藥膳堂藥膳蛋、藥膳豆干→四眼井、四眼井許家店→中央路老街、麗洋手做伴手禮(仙人掌千層蛋糕、草莓乳酪蛋糕) →三哥雞排(機場食用)、馬路益燒肉飯(吃太多東西直接變隔天早午餐XD) →台中清泉崗機場→一鷺炭火燒鳥工房→綠柳町文旅(這段是彩蛋，希望大家看完都很開心~)

EYE INFECTION?! Searching for Bagan's Best Views
Filmed March 2, 2020: Justin and I had two days in Bagan to explore the amazing old temples, but after our first ever hot air balloon ride something went VERY wrong. MY eye turned bright red and started oozing pus. I'm not sure it was an infection after accidentally hurting my eye in my sleep or just a serious reaction to the pollution or a weird combination of both.
The nearest doctor was almost 30 minutes away by tuktuk, but I knew I needed to see someone asap so we delayed our e-bike adventures and went to the clinic. The doctor gave me eye drops, antibiotics and other soothing meds to help with my reaction to the pollution. I bounced back fast thanks to the meds and we were able to experience a special sunset and sunrise experience in Bagan looking for the best photo spots and vistas. We finish off the vlog with the nicest 1 hour flight experience we've ever had which landed us in the final city of the trip: Yangon, Myanmar.
