Sogal waterfalls is near the Sogal Someshwara temple in belgaum district of Karnataka.the waterfall is just above the hills infront of the temple . There is also a small dear park which is also a tourist attraction in Sogal. The water fall occurs in two steps here one is front of the temple and later again it falls after traveling short distance. The water fall will be in full flow during Mansoon. It is a picnic spot, u can make a one day trip to Sogal. It's a one of the must visit places in a Belagavi district.

बैलहोंगल किल्ला जिथे स्वातंत्रसेनानी राणी चेन्नमा यांना पकडून ब्रिटिश सरकारने पकडून कैदे मध्ये ठेवले होते व तिथेच राणीचा २१ फेब्रुवारी १८२९ मध्ये मृत्यू झाला.
राणी चेन्नम्मा यानाचा अंत्यविधी लष्करी मानाने केले गेला.
किल्ला म्हणून आज फक्त 1 पडका बुरुज शिवाय काही नाही, जुजबी घर अवशेष फक्त.
पण शूर सेनानी राणी चेन्नमा यांचं समाधीस्थळ याच गावात सध्या नूतनीकरण चालू आहे आवर्जून भेट द्या.

Sogal is a place in Belgaum district, Karnataka, India. The name of the place is ascribed to a sage, Sugola Muni, who is believed to have lived in the area, but one inscription speaks of Sovala. Located on a hillside, Sogal has many temples, including the Someshwara temple, and is of great antiquarian interest.
Local folklore states that tigers came to Sogal to listen to the religious teachings. Other legends include a nearby Kalyanmantapa (temple), now renovated, where the marriage of Shiva and Parvati is said to have taken place. There is an old statue of Panchanana Shiva and Parvati, Shiva with basinga and other traditional ornaments. There are Ashtadikpalakas (statues of gods) in this area, such as; Yama, Agni, Ishanya and Indra — and these artifacts are examples of the artistic accomplishments of the period.

Rani Chennanna birth place is Kakati and death place is Bailhongal in Belgaum district, Karnataka, India. Rani Chennamma's samadhi or burial place is in Bailhongal taluk, but is in neglected state with poor maintenance and the place is surrounded by a small park maintained by Government agencies. Rani Chennamma was the first freedom fighter who fought for the freedom of her dynasty against British, but in both Kakati and Bailhongal there are no tourist attractions for the visitors except her Samadhi in Bailhongal and small fort in Kakati. Some developments and memorial must be established for her remembrance in the future and also to attract the tourists and patriots.
