Samsun'un Bafra ilçesinde ilçe merkezine 20 km. uzaklıkta adeta cennetten bir köşe burası. İlçede derbent barajı su tutmaya başlayınca köyün ırmak kenarındaki bazı kısımları suların altında kalır. Bunlardan birisi de köyün camisidir. Ancak Minare suların üzerinde kalarak çok güzel bir görüntü oluşturmuş gölde. Hatta ilk zamanlar köyün imamının kayıkla minareye ulaşıp ezan okuduğu bile söylenmektedir. Eşsiz doğası, yeşillik alanları, köprüsü ve çevresinde bulunan alabalık tesisleri ile mükemmel bir yer. Ayrıca hafta sonları da amatör balıkçıların ve piknikçilerin en çok tercih ettiği cennetten bir köşe burası. Üstelik yol boyu aracınızla ilerlersezin hem göl manzarasını hem de güzel köy ve tesisleri de görme fırsatı bulabilir, uzun bir yolun sonunda İnözü köprüsünden devam ettiğinizde Altınkaya barajına uğrayabilir, yol üzerinde kral, kaya mezarlarını görebilir, dönüşte de Kolay beldesine uğrayıp, göl kenarında güzel bir yürüyüş yapıp, tekrar Bafra'ya doğru dönüş yapabilirsiniz. Toplamda 50 km. lik bir alan üzerinde harika güzelliklere ulaşabilirsiniz.

Bafra Lighthouse is a lighthouse located on the coast of Bafra district of Samsun on the Black Sea coast of Turkey. First commissioned in 1863, the lighthouse is one of the oldest and most important nautical landmarks in the Black Sea.
Bafra Lighthouse consists of a 26-meter-high white tower and has a red stripe on the lighthouse. During the day, the lighthouse shows the position of the ships, and at night, thanks to the light, it allows the sailors to navigate safely.
The lantern uses a rotating lens system, a system that can change the direction of its light. In this way, the light of the beacon reaches longer distances and ships are warned earlier. The lantern also has a generator that can be used in case of power cuts or technical failures.
Bafra Lighthouse is a historical building and is among the cultural heritage of Turkey. It is also frequently visited by tourists. The lighthouse is combined with the surrounding beaches and restaurants, allowing visitors to spend a pleasant day.
