Royal Step Well or ‘Baori’
Dholpur is a town 55 kilometres of Agra and was a significant center during Mughal era. Although most renowned for the holy Teerthraj Machkund within the historic city is an exquisite Royal Step Well also known as Baori built from the famed red sandstone.
Hidden behind the Tomb of Gajra is this pretty red sandstone 19th century Baori. The Royal Step Well, though unknown to most that visit this little town, is unique for its beautiful double artistic pillars, carved stones and delicate arches that surround its long rectangular tank and a circular double-storied well at the back, the arches of the circular pattern of the well show distinct Mughal influence. Hemmed in by buildings on all sides, the structure looks better conserved than the neighboring Tomb of Gajra.

Ghanta Ghar - Dholpur
Nihal Tower also known as Ghanta Ghar
Positioned at the Town Hall road and locally known as Ghanta Ghar, this 150-feet high tower was started by Raja Nihal Singh in the year 1880, and completed around the year 1910 by Raja Ram Singh. The foot of this tower is covered with 12 equal-sized gates and covers an area of around 120 feet.
Architecture:
Its design is a fine blend of Indo-Muslim architecture. It was built by M/S Jille and Johnsons Koydone Company of England. This 150 feet high tower is built of Dholpur red sandstone. The lowest floor is 120 feet in circumference and has 12 arched doors. It has 125 stairs to reach the top. A beautiful umbrella supported by eight pillars is positioned on the top floor. A Ghanta (a bell made of metal) weighing 600 Kilograms and 25 feet in circumference is hanging here. The hammer which was used to strike the Ghanta is 5 Kilograms in weight. Its voice can be heard from several Kilometres.

Shergarh Fort - Dholpur
Shergarh Fort
Positioned to the south of Dholpur, the Shergarh Fort was built by Raja Maldeo of Jodhpur. It was reconstructed in 1540 by Sher Shah Suri the founder of Suri dynasty and the fort was named after him. Shergarh Fort was initially built in defense against the rulers of Mewar. This historic monument is considered to be the epitome of rich, delicately-styled architecture from the past. Adorned with carved images, statues of Hindu gods and Jain motifs, the Shergarh Fort was once protected by water and is considered to be the charm of Dholpur.

The fort is positioned about 7 kilometres south of Dholpur city on the left bank of the Chambal River near a road bridge on the National Highway No. 2.

The historic King George V Jubilee Hall and Library is made of red and white sandstone's, Dholpur, a historic city that was once known as Dhawalpur, the city saw centuries-old rule, from the era of Mughal rulers To the British period. The hallmark of this golden journey is also seen in historical buildings. The living example of this is the historic King George V Jubilee Hall and Library here. The only difference is that in 1935 this hall was surrounded by lush green trees and currently with a high speed riding population, previously there was only single way to reach this hall and open around everywhere. But, currently it is stuck in the middle itself, around which only paths are passing.
