고흐가 살았던 여인숙이자 카페인 ‘고흐 기념관'에서, 옛날 그대로의 모습을 간직한 고흐의 초라하고 외로운 방을 볼 수 있는데, 화가의 숨결을 느낄 수 있을 정도로 그때의 모습이 잘 보존되어 있죠., 좁은 지붕 아래 작은방에는 침대와 작은 책상, 의자밖에 없어서 당시 화가의 쓸쓸한 삶을 그대로 보여 주고 있습니다.

This is an interview with Mr. Dominique-Charles Janssens, the owner of the ‘Auberge Ravoux’, located in ‘Auvers-sur-Oise’ near Paris, where Van Gogh last lived, and the director of the ‘Institut Van Gogh’.
Van Gogh’s dream that he wrote to his brother Theo in a letter, ‘I want to exhibit my paintings in a café someday.’ The director’s plan to make his dream come true, and a word of advice for Korean tourists!!
The small town of ‘Aubers-sur-Oise’, located about an hour north of Paris, is where the unfortunate genius painter Van Gogh spent the last 70 days of his life and completed 80 works of art. It is a place that is constantly visited by many tourists from around the world.
Many famous works such as 'Church of Auvers', 'Road and Stairs of Auvers', 'Portrait of Gachet', 'Wheat Field with Crows', and 'Last Self-Portrait' were created with this place as their background and are currently on display at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. After appreciating the works at the Musée d'Orsay, take a walk through the stairs, alleys, city hall, church, and barley fields of Auvers that were the backgrounds of Van Gogh's paintings and look back on the life of the unfortunate genius painter.
Auberge Ravoux, Van Gogh's Room
On May 20, 1890, he arrived at the 'Ravou Inn' and stayed there for the last 70 days of his life, working actively from morning until late at night, leaving behind a whopping 80 oil paintings and numerous drawings.
At the ‘Van Gogh Memorial’, the inn and café where Van Gogh lived, you can see Van Gogh’s shabby and lonely room, which has been preserved just as it was in the past. It is so well preserved that you can feel the artist’s breath. Under the narrow roof, the small room only has a bed, a small desk, and a chair, showing the artist’s lonely life at the time.

Um charme. Passeio fora do circuito tradicional e oportunidade de conhecer locais como o Auberge Ravoux, a pensão onde passou seus últimos dias. Nos 70 dias que viveu em Auvers sur Oise, pintou 80 telas, até 29 de julho de 1890, quando morreu. No cemitério, o irmão Theo está enterrado ao seu lado.
A escolha de Van Gogh por Auvers sur Oise não foi aleatória, mas resultado de diversos fatores. O primeiro deles, era o seu espírito de viajante.
Em 37 anos de vida, o pintor holandês morou em quatro países, em 38 endereços diferentes. Na França, viveu seus últimos cinco anos.
Quando se instalou em Auvers sur Oise, havia recém saído de um manicômio. Buscava local sossegado pra se recuperar, próximo de Paris, onde viveu de 1886 a 1888.
Com a ajuda do pintor Camille Pissarro, um dos 'pais' do impressionismo, conseguiu estabelecer-se na cidade com pouco dinheiro e ter acompanhamento médico.
