As a result, some of the more popular cities, like Nashville and Chattanooga have started to get expensive. The purpose of this video is to determine where the safest cities to live are in Tennessee. Those places where crime is usually something you hear about on Facebook, but not from your local paper.
We analyzed cities in Tennessee with a population of more than 5,000 using the latest FBI crime data.
Here are the 10 Safest CITIES in TENNESSEE for 2019:

Solo X-country | Touring Boot Hill
On May 17, 2022, I started my solo cross country trip on my Africa Twin Adventure Sport to get to NYC in order to ride the Lincoln Highway to San Francisco, CA.
After spending three nights waiting out a snow storm in Manitou Springs, CO, I finally had the chance to put some miles in before the next storm. I got to Dodge City, KS where I spent two nights. On the second day, I had the opportunity to visit the Boot Hill Museum - worth the time and money. I highly recommend it.
The next day, I left Dodge City and rode to El Reno, OK where I had a great onion burger at Sid's Diner before spending the night. Upon leaving El Reno, I headed to Adam Sandoval's K River Campground where I met Roman of the Roman the Country YT channel.

Blink and you might miss this location as you leave the Atoka area moving north but a pull off is one which will take you through many years of historic Atoka and Oklahoma. 3 historic structures, a part of the historic Butterfield Stage, a small cemetery and a museum which highlights everything from the historic past to some of the many celebrities which have ties to the area. Great small stop in Oklahoma!!

Clayton, Oklahoma
Clayton is a town in northern Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. The population was 821 at the 2010 census.
Clayton was formerly known as Dexter. A United States Post Office was established at Dexter, Indian Territory on March 31, 1894 and was named for Dexter Chapman, early-day resident.
Dexter was located in Wade County, Choctaw Nation.
The official name of the post office name changed to Clayton, Indian Territory on April 5, 1907. Its name is thought to have been derived from Clayton, Missouri. It is also possible the town renamed itself after William H.H. Clayton, judge of the U.S. Court for the Central District of Indian Territory. Judge Clayton was prominent in the role to gain Oklahoma’s statehood.
Clayton is the largest town or community in northern Pushmataha County. It is the region's largest trading center due to its relative distance from the county seat of Antlers—36 miles.

Jet, Oklahoma is an interesting small town to visit! Obviously, the main attraction is the nearby Great Salt Plains, which I visit at the end of this video. But the downtown is interesting too! Jet was originally founded by 6 brothers with the last name Jett, and they moved the town a few years later to line up with the railroad. It grew becasue of the salt plains and oil booms, but has been declining in recent decades. There is still a lot of cool old buildings to see though! This was a fun day of exploring!
