جولة سواح الي السلط
تقع مدينة السلط وسط الأردن وتبعد عن العاصمة عمان بنحو 35 كيلومترا، وهي عاصمة محافظة البلقاء، وتقع في نقطة وصل بين الأردن وفلسطين حيث تشرف على جبال مدينة نابلس، وقد اعتبرت العاصمة الأولى للأردن قبل العاصمة عمّان.
وبخصوص تسمية المدينة تضاربت التفسيرات بين من يقول إنها كلمة مشتقة من اللاتينية سالتوس (Saltus) أي غابة، ومن يقول إنها مشتقة من كلمة سلطا السريانية التي تعني الصخر والحجر القاسي أو الصلت.

A quick visit to the town of As-Salt
Took a bus from Amman, and checked out this small old town. It being Friday, there weren't too many stores open, nor was the museum, but it was still a fun diversion.
