In this video I take you on an adventure through the natural paradise of Tobago. The island is part of the country of Trinidad and Tobago, named after the two islands. Trinidad is busy, industrial, built-up and even a bit dangerous due to the amount of crime. Tobago, on the other hand, is an oasis of peace, where people still mainly live from fishing and now a small amount of tourism. The country is one big natural paradise. In this video I show you why Tobago is a surprisingly beautiful and unique destination, which is wrongly not often mentioned on lists of beautiful Caribbean islands. It is simply even more unknown and therefore so untouched and pure.
I visit Tobago with my wife and three year old son, on an island hopping adventure like no other through the Caribbean. This year we picked up the route in Martinique and from there we took the boat to Saint Lucia. From there we flew a small plane over the azure waters to Tobago. We sleep in a tree house between the jungle and the beach, see local fishermen at work and enjoy all the plants and animals all around us. From Castara we cross the rainforest to Argyle Falls, the most beautiful waterfall. We also visit Crown Point and Pigeon Point to the west and the most beautiful pristine beach at Englishman's Bay.
This year we are traveling all over the world and after the Canary Islands, Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique and Saint Lucia, Tobago is our sixth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Caribbean and then to many more beautiful destinations! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything. Let's Get The Best Bussup Shut In Arima, Trinidad - Across from the Arima Police Station
So far, I believe I found what I would consider the best veggie bussup shut in Arima, Trinidad. It's the Homes located on Broadway right across from the Arima Police Station going towards the POS taxi stand.
Their food is so good. It's one size for $24TT and it comes with potato, chana, pumpkin, mango, and bajee (a leafy green). I highly recommend checking them out whenever in Arima!
This tray may look small, but it’s very filling!
Note: There are two Homes locations on Broadway in Arima, but I highly recommend and much more prefer the one across from the Police Station.
You won't find this location on Google Maps. If you try to google map it it'll take you to the Homes by the Massy Supermarket. So google map the Arima Police station. And it’s literally right across the street!

At just 42km long and around 14km at its widest point, Tobago is a breeze to roam around. Anyone spending more than a few days on the island will quickly familiarise themselves with the roads, bays and bends, and it will all start to feel like home. You’ll never have to drive more than an hour and a half – which also means that hotel and even airport pickups may be included as part of tours. Be aware though that the easily queasy may want to limit the number of times they zigzag across the island; the roads rollercoaster along steep hillsides and motion sickness is even more of a risk than sea sickness. The reward is that every crest of a hill results in sweeping views of sapphire seas or emerald jungle; the journey really is all part of the adventure.

Best ARIMA, Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Walk Through covering major Streets. Walking around Arima proper in Trinidad, an island in the Caribbean. Arima is known for music like parang and sporting activities, especially football / cycling, Here we will look at all the shopping areas and some of the historic sites.
This is an unedited walk through covering the major streets and roads most traversed when visiting Arima. Commentary throughout with natural sounds so you can hear what I hear. Like all videos in JB's Man Cave, I keep things real by showing you raw footage so you can pick up the details. This is not a tourist video although tourists can use it to gauge what the streets and people are like in Arima.
Many of the names of towns and villages that you see on a map of Trinidad and Tobago originated with the Amerindians who were indigenous to our isles. Arima, meaning 'water', is one such example. Founded by Capuchin monks in 1757, it is one of the earliest settlements on the island. Source; ttcontect.gov.tt
For those curious as to why some parts may be blurred: Usually if the camera focuses too much on the faces of children or some awkward moment then I blur it to protect the integrity of the people around me.
