Antony mosaïque du IVe siècle
L' église Saint Saturnin d' Antony recèle un trésor surprenant : une mosaïque syrienne du IVe siècle. C'est en 1991 qu'elle a été installée, suite à une donation, devant une chapelle latérale de l'église. Elle ornait probablement la nef d'une église du nord de la Syrie. La composition géomètrique de son décor polychrome est articulée autour d'un médaillon centraldans lequel figure le chrisme sous la forme d'une croix . L'alpha et l'oméga représentent le commencement et la fin et symbolisent donc l'éternité du Christ.
