Located in San Mateo, Rizal, this farm resort and events venue is just 30 minutes from Katipunan, Quezon City and is just an hour to an hour and a half drive if you're coming from Pasig, Taguig or Makati. Thus, making this resort as one of the nearest places to visit near Manila.

Among all Philippine hotels and resorts we've visited, Estancia de Lorenzo has received
an award in the prestigious Architizer A+ Awards and was also selected as one of the finalist at the World Architecture Festival in 2023.
Senior-citizen & PWD-friendly resort
Estancia de Lorenzo is one of the resorts/staycation places that are senior-citizen and wheelchair-friendly. The villa where we stayed has a sleeping area and toilet and bath on the ground floor. As for the facilities, there are wheelchair ramps going to the reception and restaurants of the resort. If you have furry friends, you can also bring them as Estancia de Lorenzo is also a pet-friendly resort.
Farm Resort in San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines
Being one of the few farm resorts in The Philippines, Estancia de Lorenzo also has a mini zoo with various birds. They have a number of crocodiles too!

We were surprised that Estancia de Lorenzo has 4 restaurants that are unique to one another. If you are a checked-in guest, you need not to go outside for your meals as all their restaurants serve delicious food.

Weekend road trip from Tacloban City to Borongan City! We visited the beautiful Ando Island and enjoyed the white sand beach and relaxing waves of the sea.
ANDA, BOHOL: Getting There + Room Tour of Anda Pearl Premier Resort | Trisha Yu
Why you should visit ANDA in Bohol? Anda, located at the east side of Bohol, is around 3 hours away from Panglao. Not known to many, Anda has white sand beaches and enchanting caves. Anda's sand can be even as fine as that of Boracay's!
Staying for 2 nights in Anda was not enough even though we were quite disappointed with what we encountered in our room. I have nothing against the resort, but I hope they could improve their service such as checking the vaults if working and TV signal before the arrival of the guest.
Overall, I still love the resort's white sand beach and infinity pool. Our situation perhaps was just an isolated case, and I would still recommend you to stay at Anda Pearl Premier Resort.

Tondo is supposedly one of the poorest, and most dangerous areas of metro Manila, so imagine my surprise when two local filipinos suggest that I go there for street food.
It's my first day in the Philippines, and I'm hopping on a bike to meet amazing people who inhabit this misunderstood slum. Join as we explore the maze-like labyrinth of Tondo.

I found THIS street food inside of Old Manila 🇵🇭
In today's video we walk from Binondo Philippines over to the Old City area. Upon arrival, we find a local barbecue that was my first time trying this food. After, I try a multilayer ice cream and then head inside of the Fort in Old Manila. After cruising through the fort for a period of time, I was able to find a bunch out about the history in the Old Fort. After that, we went over to the food stands inside of the walled city and there we tried a delicious surprise. Along side that, I drank a 1+ liter melon juice which was incredible refreshing.
