🇲🇽 PARRAL, Chihuahua | BETTER than GUANAJUATO? | ABANDONED MINA de PRIETA | Mexico Travel 2022
🇲🇽 PARRAL, CHIHUAHUA - Welcome back to another Mexico travel video! This is part 6 of my 2022 Mexico series and it comes from the AWESOME Parral in Mexico's largest state - Chihuahua! There are many cities sited as the most beautiful city in Mexico such as Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende, but could Parral be even better than Guanajuato?
In this Mexico travel vlog, we visit numerous areas, attractions and things to do in the such as Plaza Principal, Guillermo Baca, Juárez, Palacio Alvarado, the abandoned Mina la Prieta (a remnant from Parral's silver mining days), look into the history of the Mexican Revolution and Francisco 'Pancho' Villa, and sample some comida Mexicana (Mexican food) such as dulces (sweets) at La Gota de Miel (a drop of honey) and Dobladas (similar to burritos). Oh, and we get lost in the desert! CLASSIC!
I've been to many locations in Chihuahua and northern Mexico! You can check out my videos from Ciudad Cuauhtemoc, Ciudad Juárez (and El Paso in the USA), Torreón, Durango, Culiacán and more! If you're thinking of becoming an expat in Mexico or moving to Mexico, there is more to Mexico than Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Querétaro! Wherever you decide to go - enjoy!

🇲🇽 Is CIUDAD Juárez DANGEROUS? | Most MISUNDERSTOOD CITY in MEXICO? | Chihuahua, Mexico
🇲🇽 CIUDAD JUÁREZ, CHIHUAHUA - It's time to head back to Northern Mexico, starting with Ciudad Juárez in Chihuahua, a border city neighbouring El Paso, Texas in the USA! Is this the most underrated and misunderstood city in Mexico? As a foreigner, it's not common to see a fellow non-Mexicans who visits here, so as always, I decided to go!
Many would describe Juárez as being dangerous and not safe given its location, often associated with illegal immigration and drug trafficking at the US/Mexico border. The border wall is here for all to see. Many visitors to Mexico stick to colonial towns in the south/centre or beach towns because they have this obsession with being SAFE! Mexico has much more to offer! We have burritos, check out the famous Kentucky bar, check out el Centro, Parque Chamizal and more, including La Equis de Juarez!
Juárez is full of history, cool people, great food, great weather, and some awesome things to do! You can read some history of Ciudad Juárez at the following links -
If you're thinking of traveling Mexico, moving to Mexico or being an expat in Mexico, consider Juárez - it's an amazing city!

CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO | The CLEANEST City in Mexico? | What Filming a MEXICO TRAVEL Video is REALLY LIKE
CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO - Is this the CLEANEST city in Mexico? Welcome back to another Mexico Travel 2021 video! This is part 13 of my 2021 Mexico series coming from Chihuahua in northern Mexico!
In the last video I had a nightmare. An awful pizza which everyone recommended, 35km of walking, Mennonite communities with seemingly not a human in sight and an unintentional overnight stay in Cuauhtemoc. This time we are going with the flow. We’re having a leisurely stroll around Chihuahua Centro, checking out some of the things to do in Chihuahua with various spots with history relating to Miguel Hidalgo such as the Palacio Federal or Casa Chihuahua, the Templo el Francisco Asis, the government place, plus Quinta Gameros (closed) and the bizarre mannequin at a bridal shop which is said to be an embalmed corpse! (not on display). We also have hamburguesas al carbon and elotes (also esquites when it's on the cob!), great examples of affordable mexican street food!
The main gist of this video is chilling out and how I have got around my youtube burnout issues recently. Recommendations are great but they don’t necessarily translate into filming a YouTube video. These two things are completely different!

If you're thinking about moving to Mexico or becoming one of the increasing number of expats in Mexico, your choices aren't limited to popular areas like Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Cancun or Puerto Vallarta. You might even be looking for off the beaten track Mexico. You might ask the questions, Is Mexico Safe? or, Is Mexico dangerous. Sinaloa is a state that, granted, you'll need to be able to speak Spanish in, but the city and state has so much to offer, just as much as those other places!

🇲🇽 LOS MOCHIS, Sinaloa | NOT What You'd EXPECT from MEXICO! | Northern Mexico TRAVEL 2022
🇲🇽 LOS MOCHIS, Sinaloa - Welcome to Part 11 of my 2022 Northern Mexico Travel series! After jumping on the Chepe Express train from Creel, Chihuahua, after spending four weeks in the state in cities like Ciudad Juárez and Parral, I’m now BACK in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, after visiting here briefly in 2021 (but I was sick so couldn’t film!). It’s NOT what you’d expect from Mexico, that’s for sure!
I’m not going to lie, Los Mochis probably isn’t a city you would purposely visit on a vacation (or maybe it is), but, along with Mazatlán and Culiacán, it really does offer a lot, particularly if you are looking to experience a more modern side of Mexico, with fewer colonial buildings. Go against the toxic obligation to ONLY visit historical and pretty places in Mexico! Everywhere has history!
We visit the amazing botanical garden, centro, the old sugar refinery and have some classic fast food (not home-cooked by an abuelita and not particularly special comida mexicana at Los Nachos (mexican food) - really going against the grain here!). We also discuss safety in Mexico, particularly for women - is Sinaloa safe? Is Mexico dangerous? I’ve never had an issue in Sinaloa or felt unsafe - but I’m a single male.
If you’re hoping to be an expat or thinking about moving to Mexico, there’s more to the country than Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende! Consider northern states! They are brilliant!

🇲🇽 CHEPE EXPRESS - An INCREDIBLE WASTE of MONEY? | Mexico's COPPER Canyons | Creel to Los Mochis
🇲🇽 BARRANCAS DEL COBRE, MEXICO - Welcome to Part 10 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series. I’ve been in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua for a month, having visited Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Parral, and most recently Creel, one of Mexico’s small Pueblo Mágico (magical town)at the gateway to the Copper Canyons (Barrancas del Cobre). After a year of recommendations, it’s time to jump on El Chepe Express - a scenic 9 train ride through the Canyons to its terminus, Los Mochis in Sinaloa. Apparently, it's one of the greatest things to do in Chihuahua. The big question is, is it INCREDIBLE or an INCREDIBLE waste of money?
I paid for clase EJECUTIVA (business class). You can check out pricing in the video and at the link below. Note that in the video I was not permitted to enter turista or primera (first) class to get any shots. Also note that you can get the train from Los Mochis too, you can stop off at each stop using the same ticket, there is also a regional train (cheaper) and it may simply be better for you to drive as you will see much more in terms of views.

Douglas, AZ | Border Town
Douglas is a city in Cochise County, Arizona, United States that lies in the north-west to south-east running Sulpher Springs Valley. Douglas has a border crossing with Mexico at Agua Prieta and a history of mining. The Douglas area was first settled by the Spanish in the 18th century. Presidio de San Bernardino was established in 1776 and abandoned in 1780. It was located a few miles east of present-day Douglas. The United States Army established Camp San Bernardino in the latter half of the 19th century near the presidio, and in 1910 Camp Douglas was built next to the town. #exploring

Fireworks Mexican style! Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico
El castillo (the castle) is set to go off. Things spin, shapes appear (hope you can see them in the video), sparks fly everywhere! It was a great beginning to a long, great four part show that closes the events at the Agua Prieta city hall on Wed Sept 15, 2010.
Crossing the border from Douglas, AZ to Agua Prieta, Mexico
The video starts in Douglas, AZ and ends in Agua Prieta, Sonora. Note the total lack of security. Anyone who wants to can just walk into Mexico. It's no wonder at all they have such bad problems with gun smuggling.
The vid is shaky because I was riding on a bike while taping.

🇲🇽 PARRAL, CHIHUAHUA in 4K | Let's Walk AROUND THE CITY! | MEXICO Travel 2022 | Semana Santa 2022
🇲🇽 PARRAL, CHIHUAHUA - Welcome to another 4K Walkaround video from Mexico, this time from Parral in Chihuahua. This video comes directly after the main Parral video. This was filmed during Semana Santa 2022 (specifically the morning of Easter Sunday) Let's walk around the city!
Parral is an awesome city, which I would say is one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico. Many will say Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende takes this title, but there are more options if you are traveling to Mexico, thinking of being an expat or moving to Mexico.
Francisco Villa (Pancho Villa) was assassinated here (a prominent general during the Mexican Revolution), it's well-known for its silver mining (Mina la Prieta), has amazing comida Mexicana (Mexican food) such as dulches at La Gota de Miel and Dobladas everywhere (similar to quesadillas and burritos). There are tons of things to do in Parral!
