Mexico City is the capital and most populous city of Mexico. The city is the country's cultural, financial, and political center and is home to many historical sites, museums, and monuments. With a population of over 21 million, it is one of the most populous cities in the world and the most populous city in North America. The city is also known for its diverse culinary scene, with various traditional Mexican foods.
Acapulco is a beach town along the Pacific Ocean on Mexico’s west coast. Known for having some of the best beaches in Mexico, this is a gorgeous place for beach lovers.

Guadalajara, also known as THe Pearl of the West, is a city of 5 million, second in size to Mexico City. Founded in 1542, it is a lively, modern city contrasting the old and new. Mexico is known for several things that started in Guadalajara, including Mariachis music that you are listening to as the background music, tequila, and some of the Mexican traditional dishes.
As a visitor, the city has much to offer also. Interestingly, many foreigners have even chosen Guadalajara as the location for their retirement.
One of the most famous attractions in Guadalajara is the Degollado Theater; it's considered one of the finest opera houses in Mexico.
Cancun is known for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant nightlife. It is a tropical paradise that offers visitors various activities and attractions, from its beautiful beaches to vibrant nightlife and adventure activities. Whether you're looking to relax and unwind on the beach, experience the area's natural beauty, or party into the night, Cancun has something to offer everyone.

Guanajuato is a city in central Mexico; it is known for its well-preserved colonial-era architecture, lively cultural scene, and beautiful natural surroundings. Guanajuato is a beautiful mountain colonial town. Many tourists and locals consider this city the most beautiful in Mexico. It was a major silver mining town, and many were still active. Playa del Carmen is a tropical paradise that offers visitors a unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.
Puerto Vallarta is another popular destination for beach lovers. The city also has a vibrant downtown area known as the Malecón, a long oceanfront promenade with shops, bars, and restaurants.

Acapulco Travel Guide - Mexico Magical Atmosphere

Acapulco Travel Guide - Mexico Magical Atmosphere

Acapulco de Juárez , commonly called Acapulco is a city, municipality and major seaport in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico, 380 kilometres (240 mi) south of Mexico City. Acapulco is located on a deep, semicircular bay and has been a port since the early colonial period of Mexico's history.

The city is one of Mexico's oldest beach resorts, which came into prominence in the 1940s through to the 1960s as a getaway for Hollywood stars and millionaires. The resort area is divided into three parts: The north end of the bay and beyond is the traditional area, which encompasses the area from Parque Papagayo through the Zócalo and onto the beaches of Caleta and Caletilla, the main part of the bay known as Zona Dorada ('golden zone' in Spanish), where the famous in the mid-20th century vacationed, and the south end, Diamante ('diamond' in Spanish), which is dominated by newer luxury high-rise hotels and condominiums.

Traditional Acapulco is the old part of the port, where hotels like Hotel Los Flamingos, owned by personalities Johnny Weissmuller and John Wayne are located, is on the northern end of the bay. Anchored by attractions such as the beaches of Caleta and Caletilla, the cliff divers of La Quebrada, and the city square, known as El Zocalo. The heyday of this part of Acapulco ran from the late 30s until the 60s. Starting in the late 50s, and with development continuing through the 80s.

Acapulco Dorado had its development between the 1950s and the 1970s, and is about 25 minutes from the Acapulco International Airport. It is the area that presents the most tourist influx in the port, runs through much of the Acapulco bay, from Icacos, passing through Costera Miguel Aleman Avenue, which is the main one, to Papagayo Park. It has several hotels and availability in them. Acapulco Diamante, also known as Punta Diamante, is the newest and most developed and investment part of the port, consisting of exclusive hotels and resorts of international chains, residential complexes, luxury condominiums and private villas, spas, restaurants, shopping areas and a golf course All the above makes it one of the most exclusive places in the country. Starts on the Scenic Highway in Las Brisas, includes Puerto Marqués and Punta Diamante and extends to Barra Vieja Beach. It is 10 minutes from the Acapulco International Airport.

Acapulco Diamante, also known as Punta Diamante, is the newest and most developed and investment part of the port, consisting of exclusive hotels and resorts of international chains, residential complexes, luxury condominiums and private villas, spas, restaurants, shopping areas and a golf course, connected by the highway La Escenica, includes Playa Diamante and Puerto Marqués, and stretches from the airport to the mountains that separates it from the bay. In this area, all along Boulevard de las Naciones, almost all transportation is by car, limousine or golf cart.

Most beaches are in the bay area fronting the main boulevard La Costera. This bay area is what made Acapulco famous and its beauty and majesty have not faded over the years. Some of the most popular beaches inside the Bay and lining the Costera are Hornos, the traditional afternoon beach, Papagayo, Tamarindos, and Icacos. Condesa beach at the east end of the bay is gay friendly. Caleta/Caletilla beaches and Langosta Beach are on the open ocean, and usually a bit cleaner. Most hotels in Acapulco are found along the Costera, and prices generally go down as you move west toward the Zócalo and old Acapulco.

Another open water beach, more suitable for surfing, lies in front of the Fairmont Acapulco Princess and Fairmont Pierre Marqués Hotels. Playa Revolcadero is east of Acapulco, closer to the airport. The wave action is much higher than inside the bay or at Caleta/Caletilla, which are protected by La Roqueta island. Transportation from La Costera takes about 35 minutes through a winding and scenic road.

There are several more attractions, including golf courses, night clubs and post-hispanic fortifications. Nightlife in Acapulco is pretty much fun, and many places are suited for tourism including El Alebrije, Disco Beach and Palladium, this last having a awe-inspiring sight of the whole bay of Acapulco.
