Northern France Road Trip (Le Touquet + Amiens + Montreuil-sur-mer) • Emma Rose Horsley
Last month we travelled to France on a road trip for a few days. We stayed in Le Touquet (my favourite place in Northern France) and visited Amiens, Abbeville and Montreuil-sur-mer. We didn't need to travel far from Calais for a quintessentially French holiday!
I feel quite lucky to live in the south east of England, which means travelling to France is quite easy and only an hour or so away! France is also a country I love to travel in, so I hope that comes through in my video.

🇫🇷 Albertville is a city located in the Savoy department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in southeastern France. It is located at the base of the French Alps, approximately 40 kilometers southeast of the city of Chambéry.
Albertville is known for hosting the 1992 Winter Olympics, which brought international attention to the city and helped develop its tourism industry. The city also has a rich cultural heritage, with several churches and historic buildings, including the medieval castle of Conflans and the Saint-Grat chapel.
Today, Albertville is a vibrant city with a population of around 20,000 people. It offers a variety of activities for visitors, including skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities, as well as cultural events and festivals throughout the year.
ABBEVILLE
Abbeville is located on the Somme River, 20 km (12 mi) from its modern mouth in the English Channel. The majority of the town is located on the east bank of the Somme, as well as on an island.[1] It is located at the head of the Abbeville Canal, and is 45 km (28 mi) northwest of Amiens and approximately 200 kilometres (120 mi) from Paris. It is also 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) as the crow flies from the Bay of Somme (fr) and the English Channel. In the medieval period, it was the lowest crossing point on the Somme and it was nearby that Edward III's army crossed shortly before the Battle of Crécy in 1346.

Abbeville is a city in, and the parish seat of, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, United States,[2][3] 150 miles (240 km) west of New Orleans and 60 miles (97 km) southwest of Baton Rouge.[4] The population was 12,257 at the 2010 census.[5] At the 2020 population estimates program, the population of the city was 11,927.[6] Abbeville is the principal city of the Abbeville micropolitan statistical area, which includes all of Vermilion Parish.
