Most beautiful places in Montenegro #3 #shorts
Among best places to visit in Montenegro, you cannot skip this nature oasis and the biggest national park of Montenegro – Durmitor!
Book our North Montenegro Tour using promo code INSTA and get 10% off!
An open-air spa if we can call it like that ourselves, covers 39.000ha. This mountain range has some of the most spectacular views, vast offer of hiking trails, 18 glacial lakes, 48 peaks among which, the highest is the famous Bobotov kuk (2523m – 8277 feet) – don’t miss out summiting it! Ski resort at Savin Kuk, horseback riding, Tara rafting and five breathtaking canyons - including most difficult and trilling canyon Nevidio, the deepest one in Europe and second deepest in the world – Tara River Canyon, are certainly some of the most beautiful and adrenaline packed highlights of Durmitor national park.
Main location to stay and discover this mountain of wonders, is Zabljak – town built to be a ski resort in Yugoslavia time, but now it turned to be more visited in the summer than in the winter due to hikers and nature lovers who are coming here from all around the world.
Your adventure awaits you!
Wherever you decide to stay, in the town center or a remote wooden cottage, weather coming in the summer or in winter times, you cannot skip to visit the famous Black Lake!
This glacial emerald beauty called “mountain’s eyes” is the ultimate crown of Durmitor, looking even better than on the postcard! Short hike around the lake through the thick pine forest is another “must” when visiting this natural spectacle.
Public transport to Zabljak is not as frequent as in between other cities in Montenegro, and around the town itself there is no other way to manage, but to take a taxi or to rent a car. We know this may be discomfort for the tourists, but everybody in Montenegro owns a car or two, so public transport is not something this small nation uses in wide scale.
This is why we have prepared a full day professionally guided trip from the coastline up to the mountains, that, besides Durmitor, Tara Canyon and Tara Bridge, also includes Ostrog Monastery – our popular North Montenegro Tour! See everything in one day!

When thinking about Montenegro, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Is it its mountains? The sea and magnificent Boka Bay? Or something entirely different...
Here is our take on the Best of Montenegro in 7 days escorted tour. Check the link below or read more.
This tour is designed for people who are wishing to explore the very best parts of stunning Montenegro by land and sea in a very special 7 day all inclusive experience. If you are wondering if this is the right trip for you, here are some of the great things you can expect from this wonderful tour package:
Day 1. Arrival and welcome day in beautiful city of Budva
To begin we will organize your transfer from Dubrovnik, Podgorica or Tivat airport to Budva and you will check-in to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast/lunch break. You can spend the rest of your day enjoying Budva’s Old Town, beautiful beaches and much more it has to offer.
Budva Old Town lies on a small peninsula surrounded by the sea and represents a treasure chest of culture heritage. From Greek and Roman traces, over medieval influence to final combination of byzantine and baroque style. Crossed with narrow streets and squares are relevant monuments that indicate the important religion aspect of Budva – including the church of Holy Trinity, churches of St. John, St. Sava’s and Our Lady In Punta (Santa Maria in Punta).
Day 2. See all the best things central & south Montenegro has to offer
The BEST way to discover the beauty of Montenegro, it’s history and culture, is by visiting its national parks! We’ll take you to the lofty heights of Lovćen Mountain for breathtaking panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor and hear some interesting facts about the area. Next stop is conquering the exquisite Lake peak (1,700 meters above sea level) and visit the highest Mausoleum and look over the vast mountainous landscape of Montenegro. We will drive on to the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje followed by a relaxing lunch break and a scenic boat ride on the River of Crnojević. Finally, we will stop for a photo of the most famous city on the coast – Budva.
Day 3. Discover what makes North Montenegro - Part 1
Now when you have learned a lot about the history of Montenegro it is time to discover truly unique parts of the Northern Region of Montenegro. This tour is designed for all nature and cuisine lovers made to combine all the places that make Montenegro wild and wonderful – beginning from Budva, driving up to the high elevations of the mountains to visit the greatest pilgrimage place on Balkans – Ostrog Monastery; step inside the heart of National park Durmitor - Black Lake to refill your memorable travel experience!
Day 4. Discover what makes North Montenegro - Part 2
For our second part of magnificent North Monte, we picked up another National Park Biogradska gora, last preserved rainforest of Europe with a must-see view on deepest European canyon of Tara river right from Đurđevića Tara Bridge. To make sure this is not just a scenery part of our great journey, we offer the zip line for adventurous people. On our way back, we will drive trough magnificent canyon of Morača river, taking one of the most dangerous and at the same time most beautiful roads in Montenegro.
Day 5.Chill day, enjoy Kotor and Budva walking tours
After a few long days behind us, it’s time for relaxation in far the most visited summer destination in Montenegro, Budva, and it’s biggest competition – UNESCO city of Kotor. To make sure you will see all the things you should, we offered to you a mix of history, architecture, swimming and unforgettable photo session time.
Day 6. Explore the astounding Bay of Kotor on a marvelous Boka Bay Cruise.
Boka Bay may not have the long beaches that the Budva Riviera is famous for, but it is an incredible place to go swimming. Our specially designed cruise boat will help you enjoy all the incredible things Boka Bay has to offer to the fullest. Sit back and relax and enjoy a day of pure luxury on board while you absorb the unique landscapes of Boka Bay

Things to do in North of Montenegro #shorts
Among best places to visit in Montenegro, you cannot skip this nature oasis and the biggest national park of Montenegro – Durmitor!
For more amazing places to visit in Montenegro & things to do in Montenegro visit:
