খড়গপুর – আদ্রা সেকশনের গড়বেতা স্টেশনে নেমে গড়বেতা কলেজের পাড়ে গন গনি।
খড়গপুর,মেদিনীপুর বা বিষ্ণু পুর থেকে বাসেও চলে আসা যায়।

থাকার জন্য বেশ কয়েকটা হোটেল আছে। রয়েছে রেস্তোরাঁ ও একটি ধর্মশালা।

We visited Gangani at the time of return from Bishnupur. This is a must place to visit. Gangani is called the Grand Canyon of Bengal. It is about 70 feet deep natural canyon created by the erosion of the river Silsbati. Excellent sight particularly at the time of sunset. Only about 160 km (5 hour) from Kolkata and 2km(10min) from Garbeta. We tried to give some view and our experience of it. This may encourage you if you have not visited eh place yet. I fully recommend to visit this place. Enjoy!

The Prayag Film City, also known as the Midnapore Film City or Chandrakona Film City or Bengal film city is an integrated film city, located at Chandrakona, West Midnapore, 165 km from Kolkata. Built by the Prayag Group, over an area of 1,600 acres making it second largest film city and costing ₹10 billion (US$130 million).The mega size integrated complex and a one-stop entertainment is to be opened to the public in two phases.
This is the first of its kind film-making arena in Asia. The complex's first phase, designed by the noted art director Nitish Roy, is opened to public from 15 April 2012. The official brand ambassador of the film city complex is Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, who is also West Bengal's tourism brand ambassador.
A part of the location burned down in a large fire in March 2019.

Amlagora Forest is located just four kilometres from Gangani on the way of Midnapur town.
The exact place is known as Roskundu.
This forest is a part of Jangalmohal.
It is very much famous for elephants.
During winter lot of people came here for enjoyment and picnic.
It has elephant corridor within the national highway NH -60.

Garhbeta is a census town in Garhbeta,of Paschim Medinipur District in the state of West Bengal, India. It is on the bank of Shilabati. The boundary of the earlier town was surrounded by a small nullah.
How to reach :From Santragachi Station, you can board the Rupasi Bangla Express in the morning or the Purulia Express in the afternoon to reach Garbeta station. Buses are also available from Howrah, Kharagpur or and Midnapore.
