Zakopane lies near Poland's border with Slovakia, in a valley between the Tatra Mountains and Gubałówka Hill. It can be reached by train or bus from the province capital, Kraków, about two hours away. Zakopane lies 800–1,000 meters above sea level and centers on the intersection of its Krupówki and Kościuszko Streets.

This walking tour video was recorded on a beautiful and warm day in September in Zakopane - charming town and one of the most popular tourist place in Poland. Is too a highest city in Poland. Within the administrative boundaries of the city, there is a part of the Tatra Mountains with the highest point being the summit of Świnica at 2301 meters above sea level. Zakopane is located in the Undertatras Trench, bordered to the north by the massif of Gubałowka, and to the south by the Tatra Mountains. It is also an ideal place for mountain enthusiasts seeking not only beautiful views but also interesting tourist attractions. The town has around 30 thousand residents, but during the peak season, it can host up to 250 thousand holidaymakers. But that's not all! The area is home to the Tatra National Park, which includes the popular Morskie Oko among its attractions (a walk from this location is also available on this channel) and can be visited by up to 3 million tourists annually.
The walk begins from the nearby Gubałówka mountain, offering a breathtaking panorama of Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains. It then leads through the city's most popular places like Krupówki, concluding the excursion at the famous 'Wielka Krokiew' ski jump, where the annual Ski Jumping World Cup competitions take place.

Then path that goes to Szpiglasowa Przełęcz and from there to Szpiglasowy Wierch with great views around. Next is Dolina 5 Stawów Polskich (The Valley of Five Polish Lakes) with it's crystal clear waters and PTTK Mountain Hut where you can try very tasty Polish traditional food and nice cold beer or mulled wine after long walk. Finally video will take you to Kasprowy Wierch, one of top tourist spots in the country. You can reach summit by cable car or by one of few fine paths. On top except unbelievable views you can find restaurant and meteorological and astronomical observatories. Kasprowy Wierch is also known as one of Poland's main winter ski areas. Tatra National Park is considered by many as the most beautiful part of Poland. I highly recommend visiting Tatras and winter capital of Poland, Zakopane!!!
