Pro Tip: Send a text to 333-33 your 6 digit Bus Stop ID and Route number (1-3 digits)

[HD] Summarizing and Discussing the History of CNG Buses in Metro Vancouver
Hello, and welcome back to the channel!
This time, we have a quick look at buses powered with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Metro Vancouver. TransLink currently runs 299 CNG units spread throughout Surrey, Port Coquitlam, and Hamilton yards. In addition, 267 buses run out of BC Transit spread throughout five cities. The oldest of these buses are Port Coquitlam C40LFR units from 2006. There is an abundance of Compressed Natural Gas reserves in the province's northeast. One claim is that one CNG engine (C Gas Plus) can remove 500,000 pounds of NO2 over its lifespan.
