Decompression Stop After Advanced Trimix Dive
Are you looking to expand your depth range? Do you want to reduce narcosis during deep dives? The TDI Trimix Diver Course could be your next step! As your motivation to explore progresses, you will find that you may want to go deeper to dive that wreck that is part of history or that cave system that you have read so much about. One of the major limiting factors of going deeper is narcosis; TDI’s Trimix Diver course shows how to minimize the effects of narcosis by adding helium to offset the nitrogen in your breathing gas. While taking the Trimix Diver course your TDI Instructor will teach you how to plan and execute dives utilizing as little as 18 percent oxygen and diving to maximum depth of 60 metres/200 feet with a blend of helium appropriate for the planned depth.

TWO WINGS AT WORK (update)
Having spent a considerable number of hours in the water it seemed to me my two-wing solution did not require any more adjustment and I could use it during my trimix dives feeling safe and comfortable. Little did I know that this setup would prove to be extremely comfy and reliable at a variety of depths always leaving room for trim and buoyancy adjustment during deco dives. The trimming bladder cannot inflate by itself as it is not connected to any cylinder and I only inflate it orally.
Of course, it requires knowledge and skill. That is why I do not recommend applying it without prior training. It is aobviously just a tool. This particular tool works fine for me and regardless of possible criticism or doubt I will be using it for multistage purposes.

COMEX Hydra 8, Hyperbaric Experimental Centre, Marseille, France, 1988. Breathing a gas mixture of hydro-heliox (hydrogen 49%, helium 50% and oxygen 1%), it took four COMEX (Compagnie maritime d’expertises) divers, and two divers of the Marine nationale (French Navy), eight days to compress inside a chamber to the maximum bottom pressure of 53 atmospheres (780 psi). A total of six dives were conducted with a total of 28 hours of work at depths of 520 m (1,706 ft) and 534 m (1,752 ft). Once at depth, the divers conducted pipeline connection exercises in open water. After completing their assigned tasks, the divers re-entered the chamber for 18 days of decompression. The record openwater dive in the Mediterranean led to COMEX’s record experimental saturation dive in 1992.

201 meters in Blue Hole. Dahab. My 2d dive on 200+
Dmitry Podolsky and Andrew Chistyakov, have achieved marks of 170 and 201 meters in Dahab in frame of deep dive programm, leading by Andrew Chistyakov. It was second dive ( on 200+ ) for Dmitry and 7th for Andrew - leading technical and cave diver in Russia. Modern methods, the huge personal experience of Andrew and his student and friend -Dmitry have allowed to make these dives safe, as well as to squeeze deco time : 201 m by 225 min.

Normoxic Trimix Saint Martin Sint Maarten Caribbean
These are excerpts taken from a recent Normoxic Trimix course in St. Maarten, St. Martin, Caribbean. The course runs for 4 days and allows us to dive to 60MSW or 200FSW using Trimix mixes with a minimum 21% Oxygen (+/- 1%) and an Equivalent Narcosis Depth or END of 36M. That means that when we dive to 60M, physiologically we feel like we are at 36M!
Deco Gasses are 50% and 80% and carried during all 4 dives.
Once qualified you are certified to dive to 60M with unlimited Decompression.
