Ella is one of the most beautiful hill towns in Sri Lanka and this travel vlog would cover all the top Ella attractions.
If you're wondering about this place, let me give you some insights here. Ella is a small hill town in Sri Lanka and is a delight for all travel lovers.
We covered the following 3 attractions in just one day, and there couldn’t have been a way to do that. LET’S FIND OUT HOW IN THIS VLOG!
1. Little Adam’s Peak: Have you ever wondered about sitting at the edge of the world????? Well it wasn't really the edge of the world here but it was close enough for me???????? This is a little version of the sacred Adam's Peak but it is not little by any means. This is a simpler and more organized hike and takes roughly an hour to reach to the top! The views from the top are breathtaking and there are so many spots for amazing views ????⛰️ There's also an amazing ridge walk at the top and it is really good. You can easily spend a couple of hours admiring the views and breeze ???????? Looking for more details? Let’s find out in this Vlog!
2. Nine Arches Bridge: As the name suggests, its built using massive 9 arches and spans across an area of over 90 meters having an elevation of 25 meters. Many people may not know that this place is also known as the Bridge in the Sky???? It was not the first time that we were at this bridge. Remember our previous vlog covering Kandy to Ella train journey? That train crosses this bridge at around 3:30 p.m. everyday⌚ Otherwise also, a lot of trains passes through this bridge after every 30-45 mins. Funny enough, we were waving to all the people standing on this bridge the previous day from our train and the next day, people were waving at us???????? Circle of life! ???? How to get there? Let’s find out in this Vlog!
3. Ravana Falls: One of the most popular waterfalls in Sri Lanka, not just because of its beauty, but also due to the historical beliefs attached to it???? As the name suggests Ravana falls, the history is definitely related to Ravana who was the king of Sri Lanka at that time, as per the Hindu epic Ramayana???????? Let’s find out more details in this Video!

Hidden Cave in Sri Lanka | TOP 3 things to do in Ella!
Never in our wildest dreams did we expect to find hidden cave in Sri Lanka! The Nil Diya Pokuna (Blue Water Pond) was a cave that was discovered in the last 2 decades in the hills of Ella however has so much of history buried within it.
Glad to be back with a travel vlog for our This Is Sri Lanka series after quite a long hiatus thanks to the ongoing situation on the island. we were fortunate to get some work with the Tourist board of Sri Lanka which required us to film in the hills of Sri Lanka. so naturally we took the opportunity to make a few vlogs too :)
In this vlog we explore things to do in Ella (Nil Diya Pokuna, Nine Arch bridge, Demodara loop) whilst staying at the beautiful Nine Skies villa by teardrop hotels.
Also please do travel when it is safe to travel once again and take all necessary precautions to ensure that your loved ones and those around you are safe during these uncertain times.
