Palm Island and Hibiscus Island in 4K | Miami | Florida | Neighborhood Tour
It's very common for people driving on Macarthur Causeway heading east towards South Beach to look to their left and mistakenly tell people in their car that the island that they are looking at is Star Island when in fact, it is Palm Island with Hibiscus Island directly to the north of it.
Star Island is an island about fifteen to thirty seconds away from Palm Island/Hibiscus Island that gets all the love from the media and many tourists. Many UHNWI (ultra-high net worth individuals) and celebrities have made their homes on Star Island.
Even though that's the case, don't for a second think that Palm Island is an island not worth paying attention to. It's absolutely gorgeous! Hibiscus Island, just north of Palm Island, is as well!

Palm Spring is the largest city tucked away in Riverside County, California. It lies on the western edge of the Coachella Valley. Long before the area was called Palm Springs, it was referred to as Se-Khi (boiling water) and was founded by the native Cahuilla Indian tribe. They were the first humans to settle in the Indian Canyons.
The Cahuilla Indians inhabited the canyons of Palm Springs 2,000 years ago. The streets and areas were named after their surnames, such as Andreas, Arenas, Amado, Belardo, Saturnino, and Chino.
Palm Springs became a health resort in the 1900s and was incorporated as a City in 1938. Also known as a hideaway for some of the famous Hollywood stars in the past. It is only two hours from Los Angeles and San Diego. Some people built their second home.
