It is in this year that Her Majesty Queen #Elizabeth II will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a #Platinum Jubilee #parade after 70 years of service. On 6th February 2022 Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.
The Theme of the event, which started at 8pm on Sunday 15 May, was 'Gallop Through History'.
The event was attended by Her Majesty The Queen and hosted by a number of celebrities, including #Dame Helen Mirren, Damian Lewis, Omid Djalili, Alan Titchmarsh and #TomCruise who lead an all-star cast of talent celebrating Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

When is the Juibilee Bank Holiday?
The Jubilee Bank Holiday is on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 June, meaning that in the United Kingdom, both Thursday and Friday are classed as days off.
Thursday 2 June
#TroopingtheColour will take place with the queen's official birthday Parade and will end with an RAF fly-past watched by members of the Royal Family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. There will also beacons lit across the UK - a total of 1,500 to mark the occasion.
Friday 3 June
There will be a service of thanksgiving at Paul's Cathedral. Great Paul, the country's largest church bell, will ring. The Queen will be in attendance with her family, including Prince Charles, his Consort, Camilla, his sons and their wives, Princes William, The Duke of Cambridge, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussed, Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex.

Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace Concert
The Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace concert featuring the Household Division orchestra; bringing together selected members of all 5 foot guards bands, The Band of the Household Cavalry and The Countess of Wessex's String Orchestra who accompanied many of the performances during the concert. The concert also featured an impressive opening by a 34 strong Royal Marines Corps of Drums during Queen's performance of We Will Rock You and a Fanfare team from both The Central and Regiment Band's of the Royal Air Force!

Fire display was the Circus skills team. Thank you all. (Sorry I forgot to keep some water bottles handy!)
This Beacon was to be lit at Hadleigh Farm with the support of The Salvation Army, Castlepoint & Southend West District Scouts. With 3 weeks to go before the 4th June we had to move the event to a field in Dawes Heath.
Thanks go to The Leigh on sea Scout Fellowship, ADC Cub Scouts for Southend West, 6th Westcliff Cubs, Ganges, Will Burrage & County stores team,The Circus Skills team, Canvey Island Air Cadets, Castlepoint Council, Rotary, St John's for all their help and support and sticking with it to make it work. Marking this night to remember.
The Event was registered with Pageantry to be held at Hadleigh farm however they have change the master list which means the correct location will go into the book being prepared as a record for HM the Queen.
Over 4,200 beacons were lit on the night in her honour.Our Beacon, BB, was lit spectacularly by Queens Scout - William Burrage and Ben Rose.
The last time a Diamond Jubilee was celebrated in England was 1897. 115 years ago.

I was in the crowd for the party at the palace meeting some fantastic people while out capturing footage and decided to stay, I was so close to the front and when the Queen was on with Paddington Bear the speakers wasn't working.... But I have never felt an atmosphere like this with people enjoying life and taking in this once in a lifetime concert and event in honour of her majesty.

On 3rd June 2012 Battersea Park became an immersive world of eccentric British culture, celebrating the 60 year reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Bringing together artists, designers, chefs and bakers - revellers were royally entertained throughout the day.
