Phi Phi consists of a group of six islands. Only 40 km away from Phuket, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh are the two most famous islands of the six. With their pristine waters and vibrant parties, these islands are a wonderful way to spend a few days in Thailand.
With four other islands besides the large ones, Phi Phi houses Bida Nok, Bida Nai, Ko Mai Phai, is also known as Bamboo Island. Phi Phi Islands became famous after the 2000 Hollywood flick 'The Beach' that was shot in Ko Phi Phi Le.
The only inhabited island is Phi Phi Don, which has hotels, restaurants, and everything else you might want for a short stay.
And now we're going there! We will explore this island and places like Tonsai beach, Loh Dalum Beach, Phi Phi Don Walking Street, Phi Phi Viewpoint, Long Beach and view from Phi Phi Don to Ko Phi Phi Lee where located Maya Bay, Viking Cave and Pi Leh Bay (Pi Leh Lagoon).

A half day boat tour can be done by longtail boat or speedboat. A half day tour by longtail boat cost 700 THB and a half day tour by speedboat cost 1300 THB. The duration of a half day tour is 4 hours. Half day tours are available from 9:00 in the morning till 14:00 in the afternoon. Maya Bay is part of Phi Phi Leh island, which is located in the Andaman Sea of Thailand, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) southeast of Phuket and about the same distance from Krabi.
There are six Phi Phi islands in total, with the two main islands being Phi Phi Leh and Phi Phi Don, and they’re all considered part of the Krabi province of Thailand.
Maya Bay was popularized by a Hollywood movie in 2000 called ‘The Beach,’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It opened peoples’ eyes to the natural beauty of the Thai islands.

Walking on PHI PHI / Thailand ????????- Pier to Viewpoints - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Koh Phi Phi (Phi Phi Island) is a beautiful island in the Krabi province of Thailand. Located between Phuket and the Straits of Malacca coast of Thailand are several islands where Phi Phi is one of the most popular ones.
We start this evening walk at the pier where ferries reach Phi Phi from Phuket or Krabi. We walk around, see the beach and tourist streets. We aim at the viewing point which is a few hundred meters uphill and has a small entrance fee.
After view point 1 we'll go further up to view point 2 and I'll be huffing and puffing to catch the last sunlight up there.
