In this travel report we travel through Slovenia in 14 days by camper van. We start in the north, near the Triglav National Park, visit the Kranjska Gora region, Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj. We travel through the Soča Valley towards the coast and then return via the vineyards in the east. We present well-known and insider tips.

Slovenia's Top 8 Places to Visit!| Full Tour
Slovenia, is truly Europe’s best kept secret. Their motto - You cannot spell Slovenia without Love , and I have to say, I absolutely agree, because I fell in love with this Country.
We spent 7 days in Slovenia. 4 in the North, and 3 in the South, and definitely could’ve still used another day or 2 there. If you are going to do what we did, it’s a fabulous adventure!
Slovenia is located in Central Europe, it’s about the size of New Jersey, in the US, it’s a Part of the European Union - so it is on the Euro, and you’ll find that it’s rather inexpensive, compared to other European Countries.
We rented a car upon arrival via train from Vienna, and it's really easy to get around, their signage is very good.

In August the Covid-19 situation in Europe was not too bad and many countries opened up for travel. I decided to do a solo trip and head to Slovenia which had been on my bucket list for quite some time. After getting a rental car at the Ljubljana Airport I drove directly to Lake Bled. A back to back video of all the top places we visited in Slovenia on this epic road trip. You'll see that we'd already decided we had to go back before we'd left, that's just how good Slovenia is.
If you like the beautiful scenery of the Alps and a bit of hiking - Triglav National Park in Slovenia is the place for you, it's where we based ourselves for most of our trip and we could have stayed for a month and still not seen it all. Slovenia is famous for Lake Bled and Ljubljana, but there's so much more to see and in our opinion, much of it is underrated. Driving the Vrsic Pass, walking behind the Pericnik Waterfall, climbing through the caves of Pokljuka Gorge and taking the Car Train from Tolmin are just a few of our highlights.

Hey there! We're back with the second part of our travel video from Slovenia.
In our first video you saw how we spent our time in Ljublijana - including what to do when you are in that beautiful city and of corse where to eat and drink. And now we gonna show you the beautiful nature Slovenia has to offer!

We visited the medieval city Radovljica - where we stayed in a real cultural heritage home and found new friends. Swim in the river Sava which gave us some very special moments. Saw the picturesque emerald-green Lake Bled. Climbed the impressive Velika Planina including a storm we needed to hide from. Got soaked in water while enjoying the Triglav National Park and last but not least - got lost down the Soča Valley.
We hope that you will enjoy this video as much as we did filming it!
We really fell in love with this amazing country! We will be coming back to Slovenia for sure!

Campervan Europe / Part 4 / Into Slovenia... (Soča Trail + Lake Bled)
Hiya. Onto part 4. Disaster strikes as Chris loses an extremely important part of the onboard toilet down the sewage drain. Absolutely ideal when you have a day or two of travelling up and down mountain passes. We cross the Italian border and decide to make a beeline for Slovenia. After a days driving we arrive in a town called Bovec, ready to tackle the Soča Trail the next day. Our onboard toilet worries are soon forgotten about as we walk from Bovec, along the Soča River and into the Soča valley. The following day, we hired some bikes and hit the beautiful Lake Bled.
