Serbia... wow! Didn't expect we'd be in Belgrade making travel vlogs if you asked us a few years ago, but here we are, and we LOVE Belgrade! This place is an amazing, and very underrated, travel destination - let us show you why.
In this vlog we sort of cover both our initial impressions of Belgrade, how we feel about Serbia, our surprises and then at the end wrap it up after we've stayed for 2 weeks in Serbia. Theres lots of things to do in Belgrade - we visit the Fortress, explore a cute park, find an amazing restaurant scene, scope out the nightlife spots, eat some local(ish) food, check out the shopping scene and try some local craft beer.
First impressions last, or so they say, and it's true for Belgrade. How we felt on the first day is exactly how things stayed a few weeks later - it's amazing! We also took a road trip to Novi Sad for the day with friends, another popular spot in Serbia, but we weren't filming that day sorry.
Moral of the story - consider places like Serbia, cities like Belgrade, locations that the masses don't always chat about and share online. These are the cities and experiences we love, places like Belgrade are why we travel - hidden gems that we get to experience, travel, vlog and share with you... thanks us later.

SURPRISED by SERBIA! ???????? - First time in BELGRADE (Europe's HIDDEN GEM)
In this week's travel vlog we visit the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, for the first time. We were completely surprised by Serbia and think it's a definitely one of Europe's hidden gems.
We start off our day in Belgrade at Republic Square where we drink a glass of hot rakija. After strolling down Knez Mihailova Street we eat a slice of Pizza topped with salad dressing from the popular shop called Bucko Pizza. We then make a stop at St. Michael's Cathedral and visit the Belgrade Fortress where we take in the beautiful view of the Danube river. At Beograd Café we try some traditional Serbian coffee and a local alcohol called Pelinkovac. Since there are popcorn stands everywhere on the streets, we grab a box of popcorn, followed by some Serbian cookies from the farmers market. After a couple cocktails at Kultura Bar we finally end the day with dinner at a restaurant called Cevaplija where we eat delicious Serbian foods such as Gibanica and grilled meat with dips.

My First Day in Serbia - CONFUSED & LOST in Belgrade!
Welcome back to Ivaintures!
Never did I expect to be traveling SERBIA. But after spending a few days there, I wanted to share my first impressions with you. This trip was unplanned, chaotic and I was lost. I don't speak Serbian but I always wanted to explore this country unknown by most people.
If you have never been to Serbia before, knowing what you can expect from here is important so you can better plan your vacation/trips. Serbia was actually one of the highlights of my Euro trip this year. From culture, food, people, scenery, Serbia literally has everything to offer everyone. The main first impression in Serbia that you will get, is that you will probably be shocked/surprised at how cheap it is to travel in Serbia. This makes it perfect for budget travel/backpackers who first time traveling to Europe.
In this series, I will reveal all my first impressions of my trip to Serbia. I cover all the first impression aspects of Serbian food ( Serbian cuisine), Serbian people, some social norms of Serbia; culture. and nightlife.

In this video, I explore Ada Ciganlija, a river island that has artificially been turned into a peninsula, located in the Sava River's course through central Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. I took a bicycle tour with other 4 friends from my hostel - Good People in Belgrade which is located in Stari Grad area and covered 15 kilometers of distance in 40 minutes. The journey was amazing with beautiful view of Belgrade city. This video is part of my Belgrade Serbia Travel vlogs. I hope you'll enjoy this video.

BELGRADE Serbia ???????? | First Impressions | WHAT A CITY!!!
In this video I spend the day exploring Belgrade, Serbia's capital city.
Some of the places I visited.
Republic Square where you'll find the national museum and the Prince Mihailo monument.
The beautiful Church of Saint Sava. A must if you go to Belgrade.
The bohemian area of Skadarlija.
From Skadarlija I walked towards Kalemagdan enjoying the street art on the way.
Kalemagden Park is where you'll find the Belgrade Fortress. Another must see in Belgrade. The park also has a zoo and an amusement park as well as a really cool bar and restaurant.
Facing the entrance to the park is Knez Mihaila. Belgrade's main shopping street where there are plenty of street performers and it must be said, plenty of beautiful women. The women in Belgrade are stunning!
Later in the night I went to the Freestyler nightclub. One of the many floating nightclub barges along the Sava river. I went with a couple of new friends I made at the hostel habitat where I stayed in the city. A great way to end a great day in Belgrade.

First Impressions of Belgrade (Not What I Expected)
Moving on on our trip through the Balkans
We take a bus from Niš to Belgrade and explore the Serbian capital.
I will take you to our great accomodation (It really surprised me), we will visit some of the most impressive landmarks of the city - the stunning Church of St. Sava, the St. Mark church (and many other churches - there are so many of them in Belgrade).
We will walk the streets, some really remind me walking somewhere in Paris or Prague, some of the city's amazing public parks, enjoy the sunset above the confluence of the Sava and Danube river, taste some good Serbian food and beer and of course pay a visit to the Fortress of Belgrade :)

Serbia Travel Vlog | Belgrade $3 Haircut | 3rd Generation Salon started in 1939 | Indian in Serbia
This video is a part of my Serbia Travel Vlog series. I stayed in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia. I have tried making many Belgrade travel vlogs. I went for my hair cut in a Hair Studio in Old Town of Belgrade. The area is called Stari Grad. I had a great conversation with the Barber and he has so much information about India. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he wanted to become an IT engineer. This is a very old Hair Studio in Belgrade. This hair studio was launched in 1939 and it is the third generation of their family.
