The Royal Family on Buckingham Palace Balcony and the Red Arrows

2015 06 13 Trooping the Colour; The Queen & Royal family on the balcony & Red Arrows flypast

The finale of Trooping the Colour is of course the flypast at 1pm. Due to bad weather conditions we did not get the usual helicopters, Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire etc, but the Red Arrows were astounding and very popular as always. A perfect finish to the Queen's Birthday Parade; always the 2nd Saturday in June.

TROOPING THE COLOUR | QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY PARADE | GUARDSMAN FAINTS | BUCKINGHAM PALACE BALCONY

Back in 2017, we were lucky enough to secure tickets for 'Trooping the Colour' as part of the Queen's Birthday Parade.

Due to the heat a few Guardmen collapsed during the Parade and were treated immediately. After the Parade, we were then escorted up to Buckingham Palace to watch the RAF Fly Past whilst the Royal Family watched from the Balcony.

Sorry for the shaky video, I tried to stabalise it the best I could with my editing software. By this point my arm was very tired, there was a kid on his fathers shoulders in front of me so I had to hold the camera up as high as I could and it was zoomed in all the way, hope its not too bad.
