For the best viewing experience, be sure to watch on a large smart TV like the Samsung Frame. Closed Captions [CC] which include historical facts and descriptions are available in all languages. This tour was filmed using amazing Binaural Audio ???? which is a method of recording sound that uses two microphones, arranged with the intent to create a 3-D stereo sound sensation for the listener of actually being there.

Rome, Italy ???????? - October 2022 - 4K 60fps - HDR Walking Tour

????Subscribe to Tourister ➡️
My favorite city in the world is Rome. Why? Because it is the ideal marriage of history and modernity. It has it all: beautiful historical sites, incredible shops, and, of course, the best pizzas in the world.
So here's my take on Rome and why I love it so much:

1) The individuals

The hospitality in Italy is unrivaled. From the moment you meet, the Italians treat you like long-lost friends. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and responds to your complaints quickly. The best thing about Italians, however, is the way they speak. Their language sounds like a lovely song. It's so adorable that even if they were cursing at me, I wouldn't be able to guess.

2) The food

If you think you've had the best Italian food in your own country, you're mistaken, my friend. The best Italian food comes from the source...which in this case is Italy (well obviously). These Italian restaurants/cafés serve the most delectable ravioli, epic mouth-watering risottos, and to-die-for pizzas. If I could, I would return to Rome just for the food.
3) The historical importance

The history of Rome is divided into two parts. Medieval history and the Roman Empire Each era's architecture is divided into two distinct areas. The walk to the Colosseum is one of the most beautiful I've ever done. On either side of the path, there are ancient relics.

4) The Vatican

This mini-city alone would make a trip to Rome worthwhile. In the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican has some of the most beautiful frescoes ever created. Hundreds of tour guides are available just outside the Vatican to give you a tour of the church and museum. Just make sure you don't get taken advantage of!

5) Shopping

Although Milan is a major fashion capital, Rome is not far behind. The shopping here is fantastic, with everything from boutique brands to mainstream brands available. There is a four-story Zara store nearby (I spent around two hours there I think). After a long day of shopping, you can unwind in a nice spot, eating street-made square pizzas and watching the sun set over the city.

This video was recorded in September of 2021!

Rome Night Walking Tour 4K - Trevi Fountain - Rome Italy August 2022

The Trevi Fountain in Rome is lit up at night for a romantic atmosphere. The area with the Trevi Fountain is a particularly busy place throughout the day. In the summer, many passers-by come and go from 1 to 2 midnight.
There are many fountains in Rome, but the most famous of them is the Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi). Neptune, the god of the sea, is half naked in the center of the Trevi Fountain.

See the most iconic sites in Rome including the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona during this Night walk that starts at 8 pm. The walk was filmed on August 2022.

Rome is my favorite city in the world, Because it’s the perfect blend of history and the modern world. It has it all- beautiful historical sites, amazing shops and of course; the perfect pizzas ever.

In the very center of the piazza we find the famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi or Fountain of the Four Rivers by the famous artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1651). The four rivers represented are the Nile, the Ganges, the Danube, and the Rio de la Plata.

Rome, Italy ???????? - December 2021 Christmas Walk ????- 4K-UHD Walking Tour (▶3.5Hours)

Rome is my favorite city in the world. Why? Because it’s the perfect blend of history and the modern world. It has it all- beautiful historical sites, amazing shops and of course; the perfect pizzas ever.
So here’s my experience of Rome and why it’s soo awesome:

1) The people

Italian hospitality is unbeatable. The Italians treat you like long lost buddies right from the moment you first meet. The hotel staff are extra nice and attend to your complaints within seconds. But the best about Italians is the way they speak. Their language comes out like a sweet song. It so adorbs that I wouldn’t be able to guess even if they were swearing at me.
2) The food

If you think you have eaten the best Italian food ever in your own countries, you’re gravely mistaken my friend. The best Italian food comes from the source…which would be Italy in this case (well obviously). These Italian restaurants/cafe’s serve the most scrumptious ravioli, epic mouth-watering risottos and pizzas to die for. I would make a trip back to Rome simply for the food if I could.
3) The historical significance

Rome’s history is divided into two parts. The Roman Empire and Medieval history. The architecture of each era is spread out into two distinct areas. The walk to the Colosseum is one of the most enchanting walks I have ever taken. There are ancient relics on either side of the pathway adding to the charm. The Medieval historical sites give off a very “Game of Thrones” vibe.
4) The Vatican

This mini-city on its own would make a trip to Rome worth-it. The Vatican some of the most beautiful frescos ever in the Sistine Chapel. You will find hundreds of tour guides right outside the Vatican who will give you a tour of the church and museum. Just make sure that you don’t get ripped off!
5) The shopping

Milan is technically a major fashion capital but Rome isn’t far behind. The shopping here is marvelous from boutique brands to mainstream brands. There’s a Zara store that’s four stories high (I spent around two hours there I think). After a day of hard-core shopping you can relax in a nice spot, having street-made square pizzas and watch the sun setting over the beautiful historical ruins. Bliss!
Fun Fact: The Trevi Fountain– a must see site- has magical powers. Apparently whoever puts a coin in there is sure to come back to Rome one day. My mom put the coin twice and has visited Rome twice ever since. I put it as well and I sure do hope to go again someday!

[4K HDR] Evening Walk in Trastevere | Rome, Italy | Slow TV

In this virtual tour we walk through Trastevere and its alleys. This district is one of the centers of Rome's nightlife with its shops, bars and restaurants. In this video, however, you will see a different face of Trastevere (for the Covid-19 emergency), not very crowded as usual, but still very interesting.
The walk starts from Ponte Sisto, the bridge that connect Regola district (Rione Regola) to Trilussa square (Piazza Trilussa). From there we walk through the alleys of Trastevere to the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere.
We take a look at the portico of the Basilica and head towards the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola, where the tour ends.

◈ A brief description of our shooting style ????????
In this channel we film from the point of view of the observer what surrounds us while we walk or ride a bicycle.
The kind of film we make can be defined as Slow TV, i.e. filming ordinary events (such as a walk) for their entire duration, with original audio and without editing (except for unforeseen circumstances or technical reasons).
We decided to use this mode of shooting because we believe that in this way we can show (in addition to the places) a small slice of reality. This seems more interesting to us than showing the usual glossy films.

◈ How to use our Videos ????
You can actively watch our videos, look at the details, read the names of the streets we pass through, and make comments about the places we visit (we'll be happy to reply).

Rome (Italian and Latin: Roma [ˈroːma] is the capital city and a special comune of Italy (named Comune di Roma Capitale), as well as the capital of the Lazio region. The city has been a major human settlement for almost three millennia. With 2,860,009 residents in 1,285 km2 (496.1 sq mi),[1] it is also the country's most populated comune. It is the third most populous city in the European Union by population within city limits. It is the centre of the Metropolitan City of Rome, which has a population of 4,355,725 residents, thus making it the most populous metropolitan city in Italy. Its metropolitan area is the third-most populous within Italy. Rome is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula, within Lazio (Latium), along the shores of the Tiber. Vatican City (the smallest country in the world) is an independent country inside the city boundaries of Rome, the only existing example of a country within a city; for this reason Rome has sometimes been defined as the capital of two states.(WIKIPEDIA)

Rome, Italy 【Walking Tour 4k 】 ► Campo de' Fiori ► Piazza Navona ► Pantheon

We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Rome, Italy at the end of winter February.

The virtual walk covers Campo de' Fiori ► Piazza Navona ► Pantheon

Timeline Links:
0:00 - Intro
0:10 - Campo de' Fiori
4:54 - Piazza Navona
13:26 - Pantheon

Campo de' Fiori - is a rectangular square south of Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy, at the border between rione Parione and rione Regola. It is diagonally southeast of the Palazzo della Cancelleria and one block northeast of the Palazzo Farnese. Campo de' Fiori, translated literally from Italian, means field of flowers. The name dates to the Middle Ages when the area was a meadow.

The Pantheon - is located in the centre of Rome on the Piazza della Rotonda
Constructed in 118 AD by emperor Hadrian, the building that stands today was actually built on the site where an earlier temple stood that was commissioned by Agrippa. At the front of the building stands a rectangular porch lined with huge columns and a dedication to Agrippa on the triangular pediment. The interior features a magnificent dome that has a series of stone patterns and a central coffer that allows light to spill through.

Piazza Navona - is central Rome’s elegant showcase square. Built over the 1st-century Stadio di Domiziano, it was paved over in the 15th century and for almost 300 years hosted the city's main market. The Fontana del Moro at the southern end of the square was designed by Giacomo della Porta in 1576.
