1: Reaction Time
Reaction time is important if you are traveling and also if you want to make spontaneous shots. The faster the camera turns on, the more likely you get the GoPro Hero 7 shot you want.
2: Battery Life
The battery life of the GoPro Hero 7 has not been improved to the GoPro Hero 5 or 6. They are all using the same batteries.
3: Stabilization
The stabilization of the GoPro Hero 7 is insane. I prepared two examples for you in this video to show you how good the stabilization actually is. This feature is my favorite one of the new GoPro Hero 7.
4: Colors
The color grading works as usual for the GoPro Hero 7. You have the possibility to use a flat or a GoPro color image. You can turn on these color profiles in the protune settings and I recommend to shoot with the flat profile if you are advanced in color grading. Otherwise, the GoPro color profile does its job as well.
5: Sound
The sound is in my opinion incredibly good. With a few tricks you can get the best sound ever of your GoPro Hero 7. I also included for this sound review a little sequence where you can hear original GoPro Hero 7 audio, so you can make yourself your own opinion of it.
6: Time Warp
The time warp mode is a pretty cool feature of the GoPro Hero 7. I bet you will see this effect in a lot of travel videos this summer, because it is so easy to make and it looks just too good.
7: The 2 bad things
The GoPro Hero 7 has not only good things to offer. There are 2 little things I dislike and I wish to be improved in the future. They are minor things, but to make a complete review of the GoPro Hero 7 I just had to add those 2 bad things to the 5 good ones I already showed you.

Tip 1: The classic shot makes objects look bigger and more cinematic. The best thing about the classic shot is, that it is really easy to film.
Tip 2: Close up shots (or B-Roll shots) are used to give your (travel) videos more details, so they look more interesting and more cinematic.
Tip 3: To make your GoPro (Hero 7) videos look more cinematic you should include shots of people. I show you an example.
Tip 4: Dynamic shots look so cinematic, so I show you how you can get dynamic shots really easy.
Tip 5: The spin shot is a very creative shot which adds some spice to your (travel) videos.
Tip 6: The 6th shot is similar to the 5th one, but the rotation happens on an other axis.
Tip 7: What you would never think about, reading cinematic camera movements, is a shot without any movement at all. But they are great and look really cinematic. Time lapses are a good example of shots without any camera movement.
By the way, somewhere in the video you will find a bonus shot!

GoPro 7 Black vs DJI Osmo Pocket pour des vidéos accélérées stabilisées
Qui de la GoPro Hero 7 Black et de la DJI Osmo Pocket est la caméra la mieux adaptée pour la réalisation de vidéos accélérées stabilisées ?
Après un premier test rapide juste après Noël ( je prends plus de temps pour comparer ces deux caméras stabilisées (logiciellement pour la GoPro Hero 7 Black et mécaniquement pour la DJI Osmo Pocket) sur les ruines du théâtre gallo-romain de Champlieu.
J'utilise mon drone Parrot Anafi en mode cameraman pour vous permettre de vous rendre compte de l'itinéraire emprunté avec les caméras.

I just wanted to see how stable the gopro hero7 black was without a gimbal. Took the bike over some rough areas. I think it came out pretty good without a gimbal.

Lorsque je voyage j'utilise le CANON G7X II pour faire la plupart de mes vidéos (VLOGS) mais de temps en temps j'ai besoin d'une petite camera type action cam que j'utilise pour filmer dans des conditions plus tout terrain. J'ai pendant longtemps utilisé la SONY FDR-X3000 qui remplissait son rôle mais le manque d'écran et le fait qu'elle ne soit pas étanche sans un caisson supplémentaire m'ont fait passer à la toute dernière GOPRO, la HERO6 BLACK.
Dans cette vidéo je vous donne mes impressions sur cette petit caméra et je la compare avec mon ancienne SONY...

Je vais parler un peu technique en testant la nouvelle GoPro 9 Black. Munie d'un nouveau capteur 20 millions de pixels, cette nouvelle GoPro est-elle plus qu'une action cam ? Peut on utiliser cette caméra pour du vlog ou des vidéos de voyages ? Partons à sa découverte en profitant des jardins japonais du parc Albert Kahn.
La vidéo est bien sur intégralement tournée avec la GoPro 9 et certaines scènes avec la GoPro 7
Je teste aussi la caméra par rapport à la GoPro 7.
