Antigua is a beautiful colonial town that is easily accessible from Guatemala City. We flew from Mexico City to Guatemala City, and from there it is a 1 hour drive to downtown Antigua.
This trip might surprise some of my Mexican viewers, as we have been making videos in Mexico for the past 6 months. But don't worry, after the Guatemala trip we will soon be back in Mexico for more travel adventures. Watch the video to find out more :)

But I believe that every big city has beauty waiting to be found, so that's what I go looking for in Guatemala's capital — Guatemala City.

We are back travelling! This time, we chose to explore Guatemala, the Land of the Maya! This Central America country is loaded with natural, historical and cultural appeal!
From ancient Maya cities lost deep in the lush rainforest to intimidating smouldering volcanoes, through jungle-fringed lakes in the highlands, colourful colonial cities and distinctive indigenous culture, everything in Guatemala is magical.
Guatemala is of course the birthplace and heartland of the ancient Maya where traditions and religious rituals mingled with Catholic belief continue to thrive,.
Guatemalan delicious food is a based of Maya cuisine with Spanish colonial influences. Dishes prominently include corn, beans, rice and chillies. it is also the birthplace of chocolate and home of the popular Hass avocado! And of course, their arabica beans produced one of the best coffee in the world.
After few mishaps in Guatemala City, we set foot in the beautiful candy-colored city of Antigua.
Cobbled streets, colonial Spanish architecture, nearby volcanoes and perfect weather make Antigua, a jewel in Central America’s crown.
The city was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979 and is completely protected from wild urbanisation. If you are an architecture lover, food fiend and coffee aficionado, this gem will be haven. Great place to party too!

I WENT TO GUATEMALA! | Guatemala Travel Vlog
That's right, I went to Guatemala! I flew into Guatemala City, spent some time at Lake Atitlán, La Antigua, and Guatemala City. I rode a chicken bus, tuk tuk, and water taxi. I mingled with the Mayans, befriended and danced with a gentleman in the central park, and watched a volcano spew ash.
As part of my New Year's resolutions to visit 3 countries, I traveled to Guatemala first. It was as exciting and breathtaking as it gets. Follow along!

Today we are going to eat at the biggest buffet in Las Vegas, with over 250 different dishes you can choose from - welcome to Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace!

I met up with Chef Leander and Chef Anthony who toured me around the buffet to all the different stations. There’s just about everything you can imagine including hot and cold seafood, all you can eat crab legs, prime rib, the massive steamship wagyu leg, bbq, lamb, and then a huge variety of international cuisine including Mexican, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Middle Eastern, healthy, and salad stations. And that’s not even counting the dozens of desserts.
With a Las Vegas buffet of this magnitude you absolutely must do a lap around the buffet to see what looks the best to you before you start devouring. I was very happy to start with crab legs, and then move onto the delicious meats section - these are the big ticket items. I tried to eat as much as possible and definitely had some dishes from ever kitchen station. It’s a Disneyland of a buffet, and they really do hold to their quality and freshness and variety.
Highly recommended Bacchanal Buffet when you’re in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This video is days 4-6 of our van life road trip to the tip of the Baja peninsula! We left our beautiful cliffside campsite near Ensenada and filled up the van with diesel for the first time, ate street tacos, stocked up on popsicles, and got stopped at our first military check point. Then we headed south to Bahia de Los Angeles where we wild camped for the first time. AKA we slept on a beautiful secluded beach for FREE?! We accidentally went 3 days off the grid without internet, and by day 4 we finally made our way to a cafe to check in with our families who were worried about us ;) That's where we met our new friends, @Mrandmrsadventure ❤️ Check out their channel for the ultimate 3 month Baja trip! Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went home to “normal life.” We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????????
