One of the truly hidden gems in Trinidad, Hundred Steps Beach! Keep Trinidad clean & love your home!
Hundred Steps Beach is a secluded gem with calm clear waters, great sand and picturesque surroundings set at the base of a verdant green cliff. It is a serene destination by virtue of the difficulty to get to it. Located after Las Cuevas on the North Coast Road, Trinidad. Situated at the base of a cliff, the beach is accessed via a short nature walk from Mitchell Trace to the top of a concrete staircase that leads to the beach. However, you are surprised to learn that a section of the staircase is missing and the completing your descent requires a climb done a rope tied to a tree. But once you are passed the adventurous scramble down the cliff, you realize that this is a destination worth the effort getting to.
NOTE: Several security concerns have been raised about this destination. Please exercise extreme caution and visit in groups.

100 Steps Beach ????????
There are many beaches in Trinidad and Tobago that makes you put in some work before you can enjoy their beauty and one such beach is 100 Steps beach located on the north coast of Trinidad in the vicinity of La Fillette.
There is a trail, some adventurous element and of course steps to get you to the base of this cliff where the pictureque scenery unfolds.
TIP 1: Parking space is limited and the road/track can only accommodate single lane parking.
TIP 2: Do not leave anything valuable in your vehicle, walk with everything down to the beach, otherwise it may invite thieves to break into your vehicle.
TIP 3: I recommend visiting this beach in groups during the day due to its isolated location.
Tip 4: It will be challenging to carry children to this beach due to some climbing elements and terrain.
Tip 5: There is no restroom facilities
TIP 6: Monitor the weather because rain can increase the difficulty of getting to and out of the beach.
TIP 7: Whatever you bring to the beach, take it back with you. Leave only your memories behind and be responsible

An already popular site for locals, what was once known as the Cell Site by the Paramin community has been given a $3 million facelift and has been officially declared a tourism site by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
The workmanship is a testament to the artisans, craftsmen and contractors in the Paramin area.

MISSION TO PARADISE !!! EXPLORING ONE OF TRINIDAD'S BEST KEPT SECRETS !
The secluded Paria Waterfall can be accessed by hiking trail through Blanchisseuse or Matelot, or by boat. The journey provides breath-taking views of stacks, arches, caves and other natural formations along the coastline. Though some hikers have regarded the hiking level as strenuous, it is doable even for inexperienced hikers and first-timers.
The journey takes about 2 hours each way depending on the speed you move at.
During this coastal hike, you will come across an amazing 50ft peninsula known as Turtle Rock. Its name is derived from the green turtles that frequent the surrounding Caribbean Sea. This spot overlooks the coast and is an ideal backdrop for pictures.
The Paria waterfall is a refreshingly short walk 15 minutes inland from the scenic Paria Beach. Following the river located at the eastern end of the beach, one comes across one of the most remarkable hidden waterfalls. Clean, clear, pristine waters of the Northern Range tumbles over 10ft of rocks into a refreshing and blissful plunge pool, to rejuvenate the body and mind for the hike out.

Maracas Bay, the most popular beach in Trinidad, is home to great tans, stunning waters and the wildly popular local street food known as bake and shark.
On any given Sunday, Maracas Bay is never empty. Its beauty – off white sand, palm trees and blue-green waters – attracts beach lovers to this crescent coast line which stretches for 2 km (1. 25 miles).Coming from Port of Spain the departure point from the west side, the drive is about 16 km (10 miles) from the capital. From the east traveling through San Juan and via Santa Cruz, the trip may take just under an hour. From either direction stone pillars are the landmarks that welcome you to the North Coast Road. The expanse of beach is enough to accommodate the sunbather who likes her space or the nature lover who welcomes the sea blast as they set up camp. Maracas Bay has also garnered the reputation for being the lunch spot with an idyllic view. Known as the home of bake and shark, this destination is host to a variety of vendors who prepare the tasty offering. The secret, they say, is in the sauce. Really, the sauce – the tamarind sauce, the pepper sauce, garlic sauce – as these give the edge in deciding the best bake and shark among the huts that sell them.

The Paramin La Vigie Look out is a spectacular view point over looking the Paramin hills and at some point you can see the maracas beach. Its a steep and mountainous region so proper vehicles , preferably a van would be most appropriate for visiting this location.
To access the site is free of charge. It is also a great location for photoshoots , weddings and parties. There are bathroom and kitchen facilities located on the compound for your convenience.
It is also advised that you visit on days when the weather is good and there's lots of sunlight since the mountain gets really foggy when it rains.

Rincón Waterfall Trinidad & Tobago - The second highest waterfall in the country and so beautiful !
Rincón is an agricultural community located on the North Coast Road approximately 2 km from the Las Cuevas Beach Facility. Its historical authenticity goes way back to 1795 when Governor Jose Maria Chacon granted 1,250 acres of land to the Spanish Treasurer Jose Ramon Muxica to establish an estate. The Las Cuevas Estate comprised of the Rincon Valley and extended all the way from the Sea to the foothills of El Tucuche.
The prominent peaks of El Tucuche (936m) shadow the Rincon Valley and nestled within its boundaries are several fascinating waterfalls. The most magnificent is the Rincón Falls which has an altitude of 76 metres and is the second highest in the country.

Store Bay is one of the best tourist beaches in Tobago known for great bathing and lovely relaxation
One of the busiest and most popular of Tobago’s beaches, Store Bay is known for many things: the two-minute walking distance from the ANR Robinson International Airport; curry crab and dumpling; the ladies selling local snacks like red mango, fudge and benet sticks; sale of local arts and crafts; the departure spot for boat tours to Buccoo Reef.
With all the foot and boat traffic, the greatest attraction is indeed the bay’s crystal clear blue-green waters with waves that average about 40cm in height, making it a perfect destination for swimming.

PARAMIN is a Tropical Village located in the Mountains in North Trinidad, an island in the Caribbean making up part of Trinidad and Tobago. To get to Paramin you have to drive up steep narrow roads using a vehicle capable of mountain climbing. Paramin has a rich history with Spanish and French settlers, many years ago, establishing a catholic presence and then intermixing with indentured and African slaves. Paramin is largely an agricultural village with a strong sense of community. This video is recorded in 2.7K resolution at 30FPS from stabilized dash cam so you get a clean sharp view.

An Adventure to Avocat waterfall,Trinidad ! It was raining and those falls were POWERFUL !!!
Located just a short distance off the Arima/Blanchisseuse Road is the village of Avocat. Within this village lies one of the most mesmerizing eco destinations in Trinidad – Avocat Falls otherwise known as ‘Gran Fond Falls’ meaning “the river that comes from the sky” as named by the Amerindians. Landscaped by a wall of glistening bronze rocks and lush vegetation, one can enjoy a spray bath behind the curtain of falling water that thunders down into a Jacuzzi type pool below. The surrounding rocks also make a great springboard for jumping into the deep blue-green water below.
