Join us on safari in Africa! It's every traveler's dream, isn't it? In this video we visit Tanzania and look for the Big Five. With a safari jeep and a guide, we spot all the animals of Africa. We are also there during the 'Great Migration', when thousands of animals move from Kenya to Tanzania. Which safari parks are the most beautiful? The Serengeti is certainly the most famous, but it is also Tanzania's most touristic destination. In this episode you see the natural phenomenon Ngorongoro. The volcanic crater is home to 25,000 animals, including the Big Five. In this series about Africa we also visited the elephant paradise in Tarangire and afterwards you will see us at the famous Lake Manyara. Are you going on an adventure?
Before Africa you saw us in Asia and after the tropical island of Zanzibar we crossed over to the mainland to go on safari. So we go by jeep past all the animals and the most beautiful nature. Be sure to watch until the end for a preview of the upcoming episodes: we will rent a 4x4 camper ourselves to drive through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. We also visit Mauritius and Reunion by plane!
We make our journey through Africa during a world trip of one and a half year. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines . Zanzibar and Tanzania are already destination number 21 on the big trip. We have also been away from home for a year. Follow us on this world tour, first in Tanzania, from Zanzibar to the safari parks on the mainland and then to many more beautiful destinations in Africa! A Leopard attacking a provocative photographer in the Maasai Mara National Reserve
A leopard attacking a provocative photographer in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. This photographer, who either chose to ignore the park rules or just was not briefed correctly, risked his life as a leopard tried to grab his foot.
As you can clearly tell, this vicious leopard was not very impressed and would have harmed the photographer. Even through leopard attacking people is rare, this is not to mean that you should play around with an leopard while on a safari. In fact, the best thing a guide should do when any wildlife gets so close to a tourist vehicle is to move away.
The management of Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya has already banned the camp and the guides who allowed this photographer to get involved in the would-be unfortunate encounter with a leopard.

Serengeti Safari [TANZANIA]
After enjoying kite surfing, beaches, and a music festival in Zanzibar, Doyu, Neil and I took a flight to Arusha via a quick stop in Dar es Salaam. In Arusha, we met up with our G Adventures group that had spent two long days driving. We were also introduced to our Safari Tour Guides who would keep us safe and show us the most amazing animals over the next several days in the Serengeti and at Ngorongoro Crater. I believe the video speaks for itself in that the Serengeti is truly a magnificent place and as the sign at the entrance reads, The Serengeti Shall Never Die.

When we went to our first 4x4 wild animal Safari in Kenya 10 years ago, we only took a point n shoot and DV camera. We promissed to go back and document it properly through our lens one day after we caught 2 lion cubs playfighting on our tiny camera.
September 2022 was that moment, 3 months of preperation and we were off to Tanzania for our own private Safari.
