Our favorite beach in Koh Samui was Lamai, which is more relaxing than Chaweng but still has lots of tourist facilities and entertainment around.
9. Discover the Secret Buddha Garden (Tarnim Magic Garden)
Hidden high up in the hills in Koh Samui’s center, this garden is filled with unique statues and structures amid lush jungle surroundings.
8. Visit the Na Muang waterfalls
The Na Muang 1 waterfall is close to the parking lot and easily accessible on foot, while Na Muang 2 requires a short steep hike if you want to get closer to the falls.

Ko Samui is Thailands second-largest island after Phuket, with an area of 228.7 km2, a population of over 63,000 and a hotel occupancy rate of 73 percent as the number of visitors continues to increase. Abundant tourist resources, sandy beaches, coral reefs, and coconut trees are present on the island. // Ko Samui, Thailands second largest island, lies in the Gulf of Thailand off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus. Its known for its palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves and dense, mountainous rainforest, plus luxury resorts and posh spas.
