One of the most enticing African destinations, Namibia is a vast country that has attracted tourists from all over the world. Famous for its abundance of wildlife, deserted plains and national parks, Namibia has lot to offer to the enthusiast travelers. Sossusvlei
Nestled in the largest conservation area in Africa, Sossusvlei is Namibia’s spectacular and best known attraction. This region in Africa proffers photographic enthusiasts with astounding pictures both in the morning and evening.

Fish River Canyon
To enjoy the raw power of nature, Fish River Canyon is one of the best places to visit in Namibia. It is known to be Namibia’s greatest geological wonder, measuring 27 kilometres wide, 550 metres deep and 160 kilometres long.

Namib Desert
Namib Desert is one of the oldest, driest and the most pristine areas on the planet. The Desert is a world of endless horizons, jagged mountain heights and vast spaces that has attracted tourists from all over the world. One can spot variety of animals such as springbok, zebra, ostrich, jackals and gemsbok on the plains and dunes of the Namib Desert.

Cape Cross
Home to 100,000 seals, Cape Cross serves as one of the world’s largest breeding grounds for Cape fur seals and is a popular tourist attraction in Namibia. Take a walk along the edge of the colony and watch these creatures from a closer view.

Kolmanskop Ghost Town
Known as the photographic mecca in the middle of the Namib Desert, Kolmanskop Ghost Town is a must visit site on your Africa tour. Travelers can take a guided tour of the ghost town and learn about its history.

Epupa Falls
Epupa Falls is situated in the Kaokoland area, about 200 km north of Opuwo on the border with Angola. The river plunges to a height of 60 m and is surrounded by fantastic environment, wild figs and the Makalani palm trees that creates a stunning landscape.

Etosha National Park
The Etosha National Park lies along the wild and barren countryside of Namibia and is one of the most famous and spectacular nature reserves. Housing the uncommon, endangered, native and common animals, Etosha's wildlife produces special biodiversity for exploration.

In this cinematic Best Of-Namibia video we present the highlights of our trip to Namibia during Green Season in February/March 2021 after a very untypical long rainy season with a lots of rain. It was our second trip to Namibia after our Namibia/Botswana adventure in May/June of 2018.

Places in this video include a very green Etosha National Park (which obviously led to not so much game sightings), the Okonjima Game Reserve, the Kalahari Desert, Keetmanshop with the famous quiver trees, the Fish River Canyon and last but not least to the Namib Naukluft National Park including Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei and the Dune Star Lodge plus additional scenes on the road.

NAMIBIA 2019 - Die Highlights im Herzen Namibias [4K] Reisedoku

NAMIBIA - was für ein Land!
Ein wahres Paradies für Naturfreunde!
Im zweiten Teil unserer Reise erkunden wir die zentrale Region des Landes.
Versteckt in einem Tal finden wir ein Kleinod für Wanderer. Das Barchan Dune Resort.
Danach geht es nach Swakopmund. Eine Stadt an der Atlantikküste. Hier befindet sich eine Mineralienausstellung mit Superlativen, die wohl jedem Sammler das Herz höher schlagen lässt.
Nur wenige Kilometer nördlich kommen wir an eine unüberschaubare Kolonie von Seelöwen.
Weiter geht es nun zur White Lady Lodge. Einige der bedeutendsten Felsmalereien der San-Ureinwohner befinden sich in dieser Gegend, aber auch geologische Besonderheiten wie die Orgelpfeifen oder der Versteinerte Wald.
Im Trockenflusstal des Ugab angekommen, beziehen wir nun ein Zelt im Madisa Camp, um am nächsten Tag eine Pirschfahrt zu den seltenen Wüstenelefanten zu unternehmen.
Wir haben das Glück, ihnen ganz nahe zu kommen.
Hautnah erleben wir auch die Geparden auf der Cheetah Farm in Otjitotongwe.
Mit all diesen Eindrücken fahren wir nun zum letzten Ziel unserer Reise, der Waterberg Plateau Lodge. Auch dort erwarten uns überraschende Begegnungen mit den Tieren Afrikas.

Kulisev became the first photographer from Central and Eastern Europe to be awarded the highest qualification and title of Fellow from the British Institute of Professional Photographers in London. He was also selected as European Landscape Photographer of the Year in 2012.
