EKOM NKAM WATERFALL - Visiter Le Cameroon #Cameroun #watefall

Visiter Le Cameroon, Il est important de noter que le Cameroon est un pays très diversifié et riche. donc nous devons tous visiter le pays Cameroon.
visited this waterfall and i found it very interesting. it was actually the first time I went that close to a waterfall. here you have the chance to go as close as 30 meters away from the fall. the breeze and peace in this place is soo unique, its a world on its own. please let me know what you think and please make sure to subscribe for better content ahead.

The falls are a small paradise located in the department of Moungo place called Bayon (small village). At a height of 80 m, they are characterized by 02 falls of male and female nature permanently fed whatever the season. These famous falls have a long past rich in cinematographic scenes, in this case the shooting of the film “Greystoke, Tarzan the lost city, with Christophe Lambert in 1982”.

Adapted from the book, the film traces the life of John Clayton, Earl of Greystoke, aka Tarzan, taken in by a monkey after the death of both parents. He grew up in the jungle until the day he was found by a Belgian explorer, Captain Philippe d´Arnot. In particular, we can see the falls of Ekom Nkam in the final scene where Tarzan returns to the jungle.

During the visit, one accesses stairs that must be descended by taking the handrails built in 2006 by order of the former Minister of Tourism Baba Amadou. He is also the first and only Minister of Tourism to have visited these falls. It was in February 2006. It was therefore he who ordered the servicing of the site by having it built to facilitate access to the falls as well as boukarous and toilets for the convenience of tourists.

July is the perfect time to start your visit, as it is the rainy season and you will be able to observe the falls in all their clarity, also a period when the flow of the flow is important. The falls can be seen from 4 angles and the bravest can venture to the foot of the falls in the dry season. In the rainy season, the path is too slippery and dangerous. You can also go to the top of the falls to have another point of view. The site has a large number of visitors per year, over 1000 according to statistics. You will find a guide on site to accompany you throughout the visit.

METCHE FALL Bafoussam Cameroon

The Metche Falls are considered as a place of sacrifice to remove the curse and lament the dead according to local beliefs. On the ground, at the entrance to the site, there is salt, coins, palm oil and even meal left there as offerings.

There is a sign on the road indicating the falls; once there you have to park the car on the road rest area and walk to reach the entrance.

Menchum Waterfall

Menchum Waterfall is located on the road to Wum from Bamenda. Although it is right along the road, there is no sign marking this magnificant waterfall. As you decend to the looking out area, you feel the calming mist surrounding you. Such beauty. Enjoy.
