Pittoresker Urlaubsort am Fuße des Monte Baldo
Malcesine ist einer der beliebtesten Ferienorte am See und wird dementsprechend vom Tourismus dominiert. Trotzdem hat sich der Ort am Ostufer des Gardasees eine angenehme Atmosphäre bewahrt und man kann sich in hier wirklich wohl fühlen.
Das überaus malerische Ortbild wird von einer mächtigen Skaligerburg dominiert. Diese thront über dem mittelalterlichen Ortskern mit kleinen Plätzen, überwölbten Durchgängen und holprigen Pflasterwegen, die fast alle zum alten Hafen führen.
Südlich davon beginnt die schöne Uferpromenade, entlang der man bis zur üppig bewachsenen Halbinsel Val di Sogno spazieren kann – vorbei an mehreren schönen Badestellen. Nördlich des Ortes gibt es einen Strand, den sich die Badegäste allerdings mit Surfern und Seglern teilen.
Von Malcesine fährt eine Seilbahn zum 1760 Meter hoch gelegenen Tratto Spino, einem Gipfel des Monte Baldos. Hier oben bietet sich einem ein sagenhafter Blick auf den in Bergketten eingebetteten See. Die Bergstation ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Mountainbike-Touren in dem riesigen Bergmassiv.
Ein tolles Angebot der Gemeinde ist der Busservice, der extra in den Sommermonaten für die Urlauber eingerichtet wurde. Der Touristenbus fährt jede Stunde in Malcesine los und bringt Sie u.a. zur Seibahn auf den Monte Baldo. Fahrkarten kann man im Bus kaufen oder in Restaurants, Shops und Partnerhotels.

Picturesque vacation resort at the foot of Monte Baldo
Malcesine is one of the most popular resorts on the lake and is therefore dominated by tourism. Nevertheless, the town on the eastern shore of Lake Garda has kept a pleasant atmosphere and you can really feel at home here.
The extremely picturesque village is dominated by a mighty Scaliger castle. This castle is enthroned above the medieval town center with small squares, vaulted passages and bumpy paved paths, almost all of which lead to the old port.
South of it begins the beautiful promenade along which you can walk to the lushly overgrown peninsula Val di Sogno - past several beautiful bathing spots. North of the village there is a beach, but bathers share it with surfers and sailors.
From Malcesine, a cable car takes you up to Tratto Spino, a peak of Monte Baldos at an altitude of 1760 meters. Up here you have a fabulous view of the lake, which is embedded in mountain ranges. The mountain station is an ideal starting point for hiking or mountain bike tours in the huge mountain massif.
A great offer of the municipality is the bus service, which was specially arranged for the vacationers during the summer months. The tourist bus departs every hour from Malcesine and takes you, among other things, to the cable car on Monte Baldo. Tickets can be bought on the bus or in restaurants, stores and partner hotels.

Pittoresco luogo di villeggiatura ai piedi del Monte Baldo
Malcesine è una delle località di villeggiatura più popolari del lago ed è quindi dominata dal turismo. Tuttavia, il paese sulla sponda orientale del lago di Garda ha conservato un'atmosfera piacevole e qui ci si può davvero sentire a casa.
Il villaggio estremamente pittoresco è dominato da un possente castello Skaliger. È in trono sopra il centro storico medievale con piccole piazze, passaggi a volta e sentieri lastricati sconnessi, che quasi tutti conducono al porto vecchio.
A sud inizia la bellissima passeggiata lungo la quale si può raggiungere a piedi la lussureggiante penisola della Val di Sogno - passando davanti a diversi splendidi luoghi di balneazione. A nord del luogo c'è una spiaggia, ma i bagnanti la condividono con i surfisti e i marinai.
Da Malcesine, una funivia porta a Tratto Spino, una cima del Monte Baldos a 1760 metri di altitudine. Da quassù si gode di una vista favolosa sul lago, incastonato nelle catene montuose. La stazione a monte è un punto di partenza ideale per escursioni a piedi o in mountain bike nell'enorme massiccio montuoso.
Una grande offerta del comune è il servizio di autobus, che è stato appositamente allestito per i vacanzieri durante i mesi estivi. Il bus turistico parte ogni ora da Malcesine e vi porta, tra l'altro, alla funivia sul Monte Baldo. I biglietti possono essere acquistati sull'autobus o in ristoranti, negozi e hotel partner.

360 camera car mount on Lake Garda
A short trip around Lake Garda in north Italy with a point of view taken right above my head. It starts from Torbole and ends in Limone BS, driving through. Hope you will enjoy the trip as i did.
