Saint Lucia is the ultimate honeymoon destination. It has the most beautiful nature and is the absolute highlight in the middle of the Caribbean. There is also plenty to do for backpackers and traveling families. In this video I show you why every traveler should visit Saint Lucia at least once: it's just a place that can hardly be beat!
After Saint Lucia we visit many more gems in the Caribbean. Whether they will match with Saint Lucia remains to be seen! With the best views of the gigantic pitons, overnight stays in tree houses in the middle of the jungle and the most beautiful snow-white beaches, Saint Lucia is high on the list of the most beautiful islands in the world. We sleep in Soufrière, visit the Diamond Waterfalls, hike the Tet Paul Nature Trail and visit the beaches Anse Chastanet, Sugar Beach and Jalousie Plantation Beach. From the west, we drive our small jeep through the rainforest to the south and east, before relaxing at an all-inclusive resort in the north.

Martinique is located in the central part of the Lesser Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean Sea and is the third largest island of the archipelago, from the north and east the island is washed by the Atlantic Ocean, belongs to the overseas department of France. It borders on Barbados in the southeast and Dominica in the northwest. The territory of Martinique is about 1130 square kilometers, the number of residents is almost four hundred thousand people.
The island has a mountainous relief and is composed of volcanic rocks: the coast is heavily indented with bays, bays, the entrance to which is blocked by coral reefs. The dimensions of Martinique are 60 by 27 km, the highest point of the island is the Mont Pele volcano (Bald Mountain).
Today Martinique is part of France as one of the 27 regions of the country, with a flourishing tourism, and with the world's production of rum and coffee.
The beaches of Martinique
The beaches of the island in its different parts differ from each other: in the north these are beaches with black volcanic sand, in the southern part there is a sandy coastal strip of snow-white beaches.

- Anse Dufour with white and golden sand in the southwest;
- Anse Mitan;
- Anse Noir;
- Anse Culevre in the north of the island;
- Anse Cor - de - Garde in the south and others.
The eastern beaches of Martinique, taking on the waves of the Atlantic, are an ideal place for windsurfing, in the west of the island there is a gentle and quiet wave.
Nature
Magnificent nature, amazing landscapes of the ocean and coast, coconut palms and a comfortable climate - nature has given a lot of bounties to these paradise places.
The diverse relief of the island contributes to the growth of ferns, jasmine, acacia, eucalyptus and bamboo, palm trees and cacti.
Both the underwater and the terrestrial world of Martinique are rich: beautiful land areas compete with the abundance of the inhabitants of the underwater kingdom.
Main resorts
The entire coastline of the island is one continuous resort. Tourists from France, the USA, Canada like to come here on vacation - comfort, safety and well-maintained infrastructure are at a high level here.

For a comfortable stay on the island of Martinique, you can adopt some useful information:
- French laws apply on the island, the official currency is the euro, a Schengen visa is required;
- the official language is French, the tourist communication service is built in English;
- it is better to go on vacation here in the season from December to the end of April (the island is located in a zone of seismic activity);
- upon arrival at the airport, it is better to rent a car right away - taxi prices are simply cosmic, and buses run rarely and not on schedule;
- it is better to change the currency at the airport or exchange offices, cards for payment are accepted everywhere;
- in July you can get to a colorful festival with concerts and processions.

In this video I take you on an adventure through the natural paradise of Tobago. The island is part of the country of Trinidad and Tobago, named after the two islands. Trinidad is busy, industrial, built-up and even a bit dangerous due to the amount of crime. Tobago, on the other hand, is an oasis of peace, where people still mainly live from fishing and now a small amount of tourism. The country is one big natural paradise. In this video I show you why Tobago is a surprisingly beautiful and unique destination, which is wrongly not often mentioned on lists of beautiful Caribbean islands. It is simply even more unknown and therefore so untouched and pure.
I visit Tobago with my wife and three year old son, on an island hopping adventure like no other through the Caribbean. This year we picked up the route in Martinique and from there we took the boat to Saint Lucia. From there we flew a small plane over the azure waters to Tobago. We sleep in a tree house between the jungle and the beach, see local fishermen at work and enjoy all the plants and animals all around us. From Castara we cross the rainforest to Argyle Falls, the most beautiful waterfall. We also visit Crown Point and Pigeon Point to the west and the most beautiful pristine beach at Englishman's Bay.
This year we are traveling all over the world and after the Canary Islands, Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique and Saint Lucia, Tobago is our sixth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Caribbean and then to many more beautiful destinations! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything. Grenada is one of the most beautiful and relaxed islands in the Caribbean. In addition to a wonderful atmosphere, nice restaurants and beautiful beaches, it also has an unspoilt interior. The most beautiful waterfalls await you in the middle of the jungle. In this video I show you why Grenada is a must-do when you travel to the Caribbean.
When we enter the tropical rainforest we see monkeys, iguanas, beautiful birds and much more. We dive from the highest waterfalls and slide on natural slides through the forest. We sleep in Lance Aux Epines near the capital St. George. From there we visit the Mount Carmel Waterfalls, hike through Grand Etang National Park and visit the beaches of Grand Anse and La Sagesse.
This year we travel all over the world and after the Canary Islands, Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia and Tobago, Grenada is our seventh destination. Martinique | Time for some history in Les Trois-Îlets
In this video, I will share with you my day trip to Les Trois-Îlets. Les Trois-Îlets offers several ways to spend a day getting to know Martinique. if you're in the area, walking streets helps you get a feeling of the Island and perhaps what it must have felt like to live there and commute when there were no automobiles.

Guadeloupe, French Carribean (2020) 4K
Summary of the highlights of our trip to Guadeloupe in july 2020. We stayed in Deshaies (the place is called Chez Swann). The video is shot mostly on iPhone 11 Pro with DJI Osmo Mobile, but also some shots from my GoPro Hero8 Black and my DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Edited in Final Cut Pro X.
