This week we spend two days checking out from Majuro in the Marshall Islands. Covid tests are completed and we visit the three government offices who approve our departure.
A last minute squall farewells us from Majuro lagoon before we embark upon the longest bluewater crossing we have ever taken.

Hello and welcome to our channel! We are Jo and Rob and we are here to share our sailing adventures with you.
In 2016, inspired by the likes of ‘Delos’, ‘Sailing La Vagabonde’ and ‘Gone with The Wynns’, we sold up everything we owned and bought our 40ft, Fountaine Pajot ‘Lipari 41 Evo’ sailing catamaran ‘Double Trouble’. We had no sailing experience whatsoever, so the past few years have been a huge learning curve.
We thought it might be fun to document our travels for anyone thinking of following a similar lifestyle.
So far we have visited 7 different countries and sailed over 13,000 nautical miles.
We have had many unique experiences that would not have been possible in our prior life and we don’t regret a second.
We're both super keen on protecting our precious environment, so amongst other things, we both follow a plant based diet. You wont find any fishing footage on this channel!

With rising sea levels, the Marshall Islands are at ground zero for climate change. I was live from Majuro for this segment which aired on July 13, 2023 during Pattrn on The Weather Channel.
How British Are THE FALKLAND ISLANDS?
Red Telephone Booths? English Speaking? Fish 'n Chips?
That's the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) in a nutshell -- THEY ARE SHOCKINGLY BRITISH, more so than anywhere I've been in Great Britain. I cannot tell you how bizarre it is to be 8,000 miles away from the U.K., and feel this strong of a British influence in the small archipelago called the Falkland Islands.
As many of you may know, the history of the Falkland Islands is complicated and bloody... The sovereignty of the islands is part of an ongoing dispute between the U.K. and nearby Argentina, as it was fought out over a brutal 10-week war in 1982, which ultimately led to Argentina surrendering. The conflict still exists today, more than you might imagine.
I made this video to teach you a little about the history of the Falkland Islands, as well as show you some things I've discovered and learned over the last 3 days I spent here with Hurtigruten. Have I mentioned that the nature and wildlife in the Falkland Islands is breathtaking?!

Hey Guys!!
So I know it's been forever since I've uploaded ANYTHING to my channel. I made this video of us having a beach day! For my little brother, who never wants to talk to me on FaceTime because he doesn't think I'm that cool lol. So, my theory was....if I can send him ONE JUST ONE video of me doing something, ANYTHING, cool. He would stay on the phone with me for more than 10mins. So....I sent him THIS video, of us having a beach day, and well I was RIGHT! He stayed on FaceTime with me longer than usual. Now, I don't always have to call to talk to him! He calls me too, now!! So that's pretty cool.
