One of the best things to do in Auckland has to eat and drink, find random restaurants, grab some sushi and head to the waterfront, of hunt out some of the fine dining Auckland has to offer. This was a trickier video for us to film, being from New Zealand, and knowing Auckland well, there's not too much for us to discover on the food front. So instead, we want to take you along on a bit more of a journey to all of the places we love.
Number one on our list has to be Masu, or sometimes called Ma Su, for the best sushi in Auckland. Admittedly it's more of a fine dining scene, not really somewhere you just go for sushi, but after being there so many times we just know what we like and go for it!
There's a bunch of other places we take you along to in this one, including heading up to a beautiful look out to show off one of our favourite Auckland beaches.

POLYNESIAN FOOD TOUR in Auckland, NZ! | Lu Pulu, Pineapple Pie, Cook Island Donuts + more!
Auckland is the largest Polynesian city in the entire world so it's no wonder we're blessed with a diverse selection of delicious foods from the Pacific. Today we hit up 3 places in this Polynesian food tour in Auckland from delectable desserts and to-die-for Cook Island platters to insane Tongan specialties!
Our first spot Sweet & Me is a Polynesian-inspired bakery in Onehunga serving modern takes on classic Pacific desserts handmade with the finest ingredients.
Next is Tanz Kitchen, a legendary spot for some of the best Cook Island food in town renowned for their donuts and mixed plates.
Finally, we have Fale Kai that serve incredible Tongan specialties where we try Lu Pulu which is an amazing dish made with corned beef, coconut milk, and cooked in taro leaves!

Trying Unique Food From New Zealand!
In this video, we try some of the most iconic and uniquely flavored foods of New Zealand! Hangi, a traditional Maori dish cooked in an earth oven, is a must-try for anyone visiting! We also give Marmite, a spread made from yeast extract, a taste test - a favorite among Kiwis but an acquired taste for others.
Some of these foods are arguably controversial, who's are they? Did one country steal from another? No-one really knows, but i'll tell you this for certain, each country is DEAD SET that the food origin belongs to them!!

Te Tai Tokerau Northland is New Zealand’s most underrated food region. This subtropical region which spans the top of Aotearoa is brimming with iconic restaurants, top producers and unmissable eats. This 5 part series will canvas the whole of Te Tai Tokerau Northland and share some of our must eat spots for you to visit when you do your own Northland roadie.
This Northland food itinerary starts in Kaiwaka and ends on the Tutukaka Coast and spans 1-3 days. We visit a number of producers, restaurants and cafes that are included in this itinerary but there are a whole load more we didn’t get a chance to include. Traditional vs Modern New Zealand Food in Auckland! | Fish and Chips + Fine Dining
Today we challenge the old adage that is Reject modernity, embrace tradition as we pit traditional vs modern New Zealand food in Auckland! We'll be eating at 2 classic Auckland spots serving very different types of Kiwi food in the New Zealand culinary timeline!
The first stop is Ahi in Commercial Bay. A fine dining hotspot serving fresh reinventions and modern interpretations of New Zealand cuisine with the finest ingredients across the land.
We end the day with some classic Fish & Chips at a legendary spot called Fish Smith. Come with us as we grab some fried goods to eat by the sea in less than ideal and very frigid winter conditions but who cares if you've got a beautiful sea view!
