Everyone wants to know Is Egypt Safe? It was the most asked question when I made my trip announcement and so I wanted to report back and show you what I saw and learned about Egypt travel safety, what really annoyed me, and also what the local perspective is. Open this up to learn more ↓
In this video I breakdown why people automatically assume Egypt isn't safe and open up about my actual experiences from doing two separate trips to the country whether it be the Pyramids of Giza, the local streets of Cairo, driving in the city, tipping culture, camels, and what souvenir shopping is like. Egypt: The WORST Country I Ever Visited – My WARNING to Future Travelers
When I visited Egypt, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was very excited to witness ancient Egypt, I've always been fascinated by the pyramids and their construction. From exploring the top ten sites, from the pyramids of Giza, the Giant Sphinx, Temple of Luxor, Temple of Karnak, avenue of Sphinxes, to the valley of kings and queens we explored it all in this travel vlog. From dangerous cities to sketchy neighborhoods, I experienced it all. In this video, I share my journey and the lessons I learned along the way. I was sad to see travelers exploited from the second they arrived in the airport. Constant solicitation and scammers take away from once a magical place. I don't even know how to begin to describe the animal cruelty I witnessed. From Cairo to Luxor there wasn't much of a difference, but I can definitely recommend Luxor over Cairo. This is my warning to all future travelers: tread lightly, and be prepared for anything!

Is Egypt Safe? Everything you SHOULD and SHOULDN'T do for a safe and happy trip to Egypt.
After spending one month in Egypt, and getting the question asked a TON, I decided to clear things up and let y'all know if Egypt is a safe place to travel to in 2019. There's been a lot in the news lately, with British Airways and Lufthansa cancelling flights, and tourism taking a dip over the past few years, so here's my take on traveling to Egypt as a woman in 2019. You'll also get a list of 10 things you SHOULD do for a safe trip in Egypt, and 3 things you SHOULDN'T.
I travelled here with my fiance, and we stayed mostly with his family, all of whom are from Cairo and speak Arabic. Although I was lucky enough to have them looking after me, I did my best to understand what it would have been like in this country if I hadn't been so lucky. I also had a couple of female friends visit - and they spent some time out on their own in Cairo so I got a couple of tips from them too :)
