Post making the life-changing decision, this video is the first tangible step to getting ready to move abroad. First, I had to find a way to drastically lower my expenses, so that I could save as much as possible. Being that my car payment was one my largest expenses and I wouldn't be taking it with me overseas, it made sense that I'd sell it. I'M MOVING TO BAHRAIN! | WHY I QUIT MY JOB AND MOVED | Expat Travel Vlog | Ep. 1 | illustratedbySade
I was really hesitant to publish this vlog: (1) Because it isn't the most flattering, and (2) because it isn't happiest of vlogs. I made this video at a time where I felt depressed and lost. Nonetheless, I thought it was important to include because it is an honest and real discussion of my emotions at the inception of making this extremely difficult and risky decision to quit my job, leave all of my friends and family, and move abroad. Social media is a filter, after all. So if I am to authentically document this process, I strongly felt that it would be necessary to also document the not so pleasant times.
This video was the first step to making the decision to move. It's kind of embarrassing, but it's unapologetically me.

Going to Bahrain vlog
I'm finally kicking off another world tour and listened to my friends to start a YouTube channel in order to document everything while chasing my dreams!
I made my way to Bahrain in this from London in anticipation of the Formula One Grand Prix in Sakhir, Bahrain. I poorly vlogged my arrival going to the south side of Bahrain where there's not much to do and according to locals just a lot of military housing. I'll be visiting 4 countries in the GCC for now.
