My cinematic interpretation of the constantly transforming landscapes of the Faroe Islands. A self-governing archipelago, part of the Kingdom of Denmark, The Faroe Islands are made of 18 rocky, volcanic islands connected by road tunnels, ferries, causeways and bridges. It was definitely an experience like no other ranging from rugged terrains, vibrant green fields and the bizarre landscape like I have never seen before. One of the most beautiful places in the world in my opinion!

The Faroe Islands are the home of the world’s most dramatic landscapes. From the steep coastal cliffs to the unbelievable green landscapes, The Faroe Islands have so much to offer.

Traveling to the Faroe Islands was like a dream. The Faroes are unbelievably beautiful and it is something I have never seen before in my life. It is one of the last places that are still unspoiled and wild. Hiking in such a stunning nature with green steep cliffs, rugged peaks, an endless numbers of waterfalls, sheeps, geese, seagulls, cute puffins and roaring ocean, where you won’t see anyone for hours is an incredible experience.

Faroe Islands FEB 2020 in 4K with panorama photos!
Faroe Islands Februari 2020. This year we were lucky we had the chance to travel and we went to the Faroe Islands about a month before everything shut down. I had read and seen many videos about this epic place and I was so excited to be able to travel here!
We had booked a hotel in Torshavn and I would totally recommend this place as there are many nice restaurants if you choose to have dinner in the city! We stayed here for 4 nights before we went back home (flew via Copenhagen with Atlantic Airways, highly recommend!). We did have to drive a lot every day to see the different sights but its a real pleasure to drive around. You have to pay everytime you drive through certain tunnels so my advice would be to get a 'unlimited tunnel pass' when you get your car rental!
This video gives a nice preview of what this beautiful place has to offer. I was not able to fly the drone all days as the wind picked up to stormy conditions for the last 2 days (as you can see from the waterfall in the video!) but every day I was able to make some beautiful photos. I included several images throughout the video which I made during this trip.
I hope to be back during the summer when we are able to travel again and get you some more footage :)
